Just ate here for the first time. We had cheese curds as an appetizer. Ribs and 2 sides for our meals. The food was great. The place looked very clean. Nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend the ribs. The loaded potato salad was delicious although I would prefer the skin taken off of the potatoes. The pasta salad was very good also but it’s more of a macaroni salad than a pasta salad. The spicy slaw is delicious. They serve crinkle cut fries my wife liked them but would’ve liked them cooked a few seconds longer. She also liked the beans and ribs. We both said we would return and would oder the same food which is our way of saying everything was great and we would recommend eating at Majors Smokehouse

I had collards and macaroni.
Both seemed fresh and excellent flavor.
Portions were good as-well.
Their hot bar b que sauce is on point.
The smoked wings were not to die for.
They lacked smoke and flavor, and were also tough and rubbery
And it’s a barbque place but they do not have any moist towels to wipe your hands with..
Part of me was hoping your ordered at the counter. But the service was good so that made up for it.

Stopped in for lunch. The ribs were great, flavorful, tender, and moist. They had several selections of sauce from sweet to hot. The hot was quite warm and spicy just the way I like it. The service was fast and friendly and the waitress kept my tea glass full.

The staff was so sweet, the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated! I ate the smoked chicken salad, okra, and Mac and cheese. Not a bad bite and the smoked chicken was packed with flavor.
One constructive criticism is to offer sliced brisket.

First got my drink, I got sweet tea and it was perfect.
For the appetizer I started with the cheese curds… And they were too greasy and the cheese was dry, came with blue cheese and it was too strong to taste the goodness of the flavor.
I got the Majors Pork Sandwich, and the pork was very dry with no flavor the sausages were diabolical.

First time- the major sandwich was amazing! Great flavors, love the spicy coleslaw and sausage, this sandwich was a hit. The banana pudding is amazing. Great service and atmosphere, this place is definitely some great local BBQ.

I recently stopped by Major’s Smokehouse BBQ for lunch, and it was a great BBQ experience.
You can tell a good BBQ joint by the ribs, so that is what I ordered. They were not dry and very tender while still being fall-off-the-bone good. What really impressed me was the flavor; they had that deep, smoky goodness, but they were not too smoky, letting the quality of the meat shine through.
I paired the ribs with the loaded potato salad, and it was the ideal side. You could immediately tell it was homemade—it was creamy, textured, and very tasty. It had a fantastic flavor and didn’t taste like vinegar at all, which can sometimes ruin a good potato salad.
Beyond the incredible food, the entire experience was top-notch. The customer service was very good and attentive from the moment I walked in. I was also impressed by the cleanliness; the entire restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean, which is always a huge positive.
Finally, for the generous portions and the high quality of the food and service, the lunch prices were surprisingly reasonable for authentic, high-caliber BBQ. Major’s is now a new go-to spot!

It’s a new place folks, gotta be extra patient with the wait times and servers. The food is excellent- the servers are kind. The sauce is good, it’s all traditional BBQ, the brisket is great. We tried the spicy coleslaw , the pulled pork and smoked chicken are perfect. Also the French fries are perfectly normal and delicious. Will definitely be back!

Excellent lunch. Our group had the Pulled Pork sandwich, Sausage, and Chicken Wings. Sides were banana pudding, collards and onion rings. Everyone thought the food was excellent and the service was very friendly and quick. I wish they had baby back ribs, but I’ll try their beef ribs next time. We will definitely return.
