Very good small town Bar/Restaurant. Food that we had was pretty good, but not the best. The service was excellent. We got the streak and fish. After tip cost over $80 for my wife and I to eat there. It’s hard for local places to compete in pricing, so it’s somewhat understandable. We will be going back, though it didn’t make our all time favorites list.

My husband and I eat here often, and order take out even more frequently. For take out- we normally just pick up a pizza- they def load on the toppings. I do prefer asking for it “extra crispy” otherwise I dont feel like it gets done enough, with the amount of goodies they put on- im not complaining about that!
To dine in, its a toss up on what we’ll order, but it’s always really good. Last trip, we both opted for the Cod special. My husband got hot apples and fries as his sides, I god mac and cheese, and fries. I wasnt a huge fan of my mac and cheese- it was good, just not as good/hot as everything else.
The service here is always good- be prepared to be patient, the gals get BUSY. but as long as you dont mind waiting a few minutes, you’re in for great food.
What i will say, and it seems like it should go without saying, tbh, is that his place can get LOUD. It’s a bar, with family seating on half. I tend to stay away or order for pickup, if I dont feel like dealing with the noise level, so not a negative for us, but I do think it’s worth mentioning.

Great small town bar and grill. Watched a Bears game with the family and although that days particular performance was disappointing, the food was not!! Great onion rings and housemaid pickles! Had great service even though it was just the owner and his wife working. Kids ate all their food, that’s always indicative of a great restaurant to me! We will come again when in town!

Food quality and portion good. Had to send my steak back to get nuked. They tend to be more on the rare side, so when ordering, consider order a little warmer than usual. The atmosphere could have been better. There seemed to have been a lot of yelling in and out of the kitchen, which was distracting.
Plating of the steak and the baked potato on the tray was odd. The tray was way too big, which dwarfed the size of the food.
George’s twinkled were amazing! I will return to try the wings and pizza next.

Great little bar and grill restaurant! The inside has been updated recently and was very clean. Service was spot on! I had the grilled tenderloin and it was good! It could have used a bit more seasoning. The Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake was excellent.

We stopped by traveling through. Very cool place and atmosphere. The food was amazing. The Swiss steak, the pizza, the breaded burger , Mac n cheese, and the cheesecake was delicious. The owners were very friendly and super nice. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Thank you again Angie and George

Get the Georges Twinkies (bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed jalapeños) with barbecue sauce. They are excellent!
I also had the brisket, and French onion soup. Plenty to eat and good flavor. We got right in but the place was fairly busy. Specialty drinks are a little pricey at $12 but beer was reasonable. Margaritas were $8. I will definitely go there again.
