Venezuelan burgers at Trino — trust me, ignore the outside and go in.
This Coral Springs location has only been open about a month. It used to be a Peruvian restaurant called Italo (same owner), and honestly the exterior still carries that awkward in-between energy. Blacked-out glass, neon, very much “is this a vape shop or an adult bookstore?” vibes.
Then you walk inside — and it’s a complete personality shift.
The interior is a full-on nerd shrine: Star Wars posters, Marvel art, retro signs, guitars on the wall, framed pop culture everywhere. Clean, bright, casual, and clearly meant to be fun. It feels intentional, not kitschy.
The food absolutely backs it up.
These are Venezuelan-style smash burgers — double patties, aggressively juicy, stacked with white cheese, Munster, bacon, potato stix, and a soft toasted bun that somehow holds together despite the chaos. You can see it in the cross-section: no dry beef, no filler, just meat, fat, cheese, and crunch.
But the real differentiator here is the sauce situation.
They bring out squeeze bottles like you’re about to conduct a science experiment:
• Ajo (garlic)
• Blue cheese (excellent)
• Bacon (ridiculous)
• Sweet corn (unexpectedly great)
• Trino sauce (tangy ranch-style)
Get fries for the table and just start mixing. This place understands that sauces are not a garnish — they’re the point.
Beyond burgers, the menu goes full Venezuelan and Colombian: perros (loaded hot dogs), cachapas (sweet corn pancake sandwiches), empanadas, patacones. This isn’t a burger place pretending to do Latin food — it’s Latin street food that happens to do burgers extremely well.
Bottom line:
The outside may make you hesitate. Don’t. Inside is fun, the burgers are legit, and the sauce game alone earns the visit.

I had the classic double cheeseburger with bacon, and it did not disappoint. Thick, juicy, and plentiful with the shredded cheddar fries hit the spot! A way better than average burger experience from a food truck pleasantly surprised. Definitely will be back to taste
The only negative was that the outside waiter had limited english speaking capabilities, so I ordered from the girl on the inside who was fluent and very sweet.

Delicious food! We are hooked on queso de Mano (white Venezuelan cheese) haha we live about 40 minutes away but it’s so worth coming, never disappoints. Service is always so attentive and kind. It’s a pleasure to come here!

Wanted to try since it’s open late night, in my opinion it’s not the right toppings for me personally ( the Muenster cheese I took off and corn & soggy bacon). I will try the hotdog next to see if I like that option better. I give a 3/5 bc after I took the toppings off it was actually really good. Definitely a place to stop and eat outside and get a quick good burger

The best Venezuelan hamburger around! It’s so addictive that my family and I find ourselves going every week. The server and chef are really friendly and professional, which makes the experience even better. The Maracucha burger tastes amazing, and they’ve got some delicious sauces to go with it! I absolutely love this place and would recommend it 100%!
