We stopped in for some pita bread, hummus, dolma, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki while on a food tour (Carlsbad Food Tours) and it was delish! The pita bread alone is worth stopping in for! The hummus was some of the best I’ve had – apparently it’s a three-day process where they soak the chickpeas to remove the skins, resulting in some of the smoothest hummus around. Yum!

Very flavorful! I absolutely love the basket of freshly made pita bread along with the hummus and baba ghanoush. They serve large delicious portions that can be shared between two people. The atmosphere has always been so peaceful and inviting. Definitely my go to when I’m in the mood for fresh Mediterranean!

If you’re looking for Mediterranean food within Carlsbad village, this is the place to go. But beware, the service is very slow but the food is really really good. There were only a couple of tables seated at the restaurant when we arrived but it took them well over 40 minutes to get us our food. They do have a takeout option also but you might want to consider. But as far as sticking to traditional menu items, they are very good at that. I highly recommend the beef kabob plate

Ordered the chicken kabobs with rice. So flavorful. The hummus is amazing. I wish they served more. Also, the pita bread is cooked to order. Literally, everything on the plate was delicious.

This has to he one of the most delicious Mediterranean style restaurant experiences that I’ve had. The hummus was smooth and fluffy with a perfect texture, the chicken shawarma in an absolutely rich and gorgeous sauce, along with the pita which was toasted just right. And, then, I finished off with their baklava, just the perfect amount of honey and layers of crisp dough with the nuts. If I lived here, I’d come here often. When I return on a future vacation, I’ll bring others. Thank you!

Best Mediterranean food in north county! The shawarma is out of this world! Salmon and chicken kabobs were cooked perfectly! The hummus and pita are the best I have ever had! Beautiful restaurant and great service!

Ordered the kabob and it was delicious! The fresh made pita it comes with was like the cherry on top of the dish. The pistachio gelato was also very tasty. The restaurant is very clean and the workers are friendly- would definitely recommend

Fantastic Mediterranean restaurant with patio seating in the heart of Carlsbad Village!
I ordered the beef shawarma wrap with salad, as well as the hummus trio to share. All three kinds of hummus were excellent; they even had a hummus on the sweeter side that tasted like it was made with beets! The two pieces of pita bread that came with this were incredible.
My salad was made of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, but felt a tad on the oily side for me. The freshness of the vegetables still ensured it was delicious though. Fries were also available if you prefer.
The shawarma wrap was flavorful, and we served with tzatziki by default. I opted to add a garlic sauce, and was very sad when I had scraped the last drops onto the wrap. It was very good. The meat was crisp on the edges and flavorful, and the pita was light and fluffy.
The outdoor patio seating bordering the street was a lovely place to sit and take in the sights and sounds of Carlsbad. I highly recommend visiting this tasty gem of a restaurant.

The food here was absolutely fabulous! We shared the chicken and beef Shawarma and it scrumptious! They serve homemade pita bread and it was the best I have ever tasted. I normally don’t like pita but this was like eating a pillow of bread! The meat was seasoned to perfection and Lila took excellent care of us! You should definitely stop by this local restaurant. They had patio dining, counter dining that overlooks the street in addition to regular seating. You will not be disappointed.

I was here about two weeks ago and I feel guilty is that it took me this long to write the review, this place is just amazing. The food was delicious. We sat outside. They turned the heater on for us since he was a bit cold and windy .They were kind and quick very attentive and their rice pudding is so delicious. I will definitely be coming back and bringing family and friends. Also I was able to have my dog in their outdoor seating area, which is always a plus when that i can bring my fur baby.
