Food was not good at all. Service was good as we had a large group. The bathrooms were nasty. The salad bar was not good at all. Bones were all in the shredded turkey and made us almost break teeth not to mention it was nasty. They did give the mother’s (it was mother’s day) a big piece of pie and that was very nice and thoughtful.

Very good seafood meal. Guest with us were very satisfied as well. Food very good, service very good, and price for seafood buffet was reasonable. Restaurant was clean. Plenty of food was kept stocked on buffet bar. Always enjoy our meals there down through the years. Only Shoney’s we have found to be worth eating at in a rather large area. Keep up the good job employees and manager.

We had the breakfast buffet. The bacon was cold and had grease set up on it. The gravy was just like water, way too thin. There are no longer pancakes on the bar. The only positive was we were able to order pancakes and they were very good. Our server did a great job.

Walked in at 10 till close. Total pros, these guys are. They were absolutely epic. Whoever worked on 12/17 night shift is awesome. Buffet was clean and professional. Great hostess, great waiter, the cook killed it with the Philly cheese steak. Go there now. Eat. You gonna dig it. I swear.

Had an unpleasant experience a couple of days ago. The lovely manager, Debbie, and her staff made that up today. The waitresses are really sweet and try hard. I just want to say–even IF you have a bad experience/bad wait staff, please remember to give a tip as that is what they live off!

Started off going to Fatz just less than a mile down, waited there on the sofa for 20 minuets, and 10 minuets at the table, didn’t get served there after watching another table get served before us being seated after us so we came here.
Service is so fast we can order drinks before getting seated.
We went straight to the buffet, got our drinks before getting back to our table.
Most of the food was good, the chicken was slightly dry, other than that everything was great.

The food was bland & over cooked. I didn’t finish a single plate. The lemonade was extremely watered down & gross. Our waitress was sweet but didn’t know the correct buffet price. The manager was very helpful in correcting these mistakes but I will never return.

Thursday night breakfast bar food was subpar to say the least. Grits were thick and pasty, bacon was overcooked, gravy was lumpy and biscuits were hard. When I asked about getting fresh biscuits I was told by the employee, “I just brought those out!” Server was a doll. Pleasant and attentive. For what they charge for their buffet it needs to be a LOT better quality of food.

Went for a late breakfast with family and, despite the later hour, everything on the bar was still hot and fresh. Our waitress was extremely friendly, our coffee cups were always full, and she even told us to help ourselves to the lunchtime fare (after they’d switched out the items on the bar) at no additional charge! All around, it was a top-notch visit.

The warm and friendly service is the best part about Shoney’s. My family has ordered several menu items as well as choosing the buffet route. The food could be better. If you’re planning on eating from the buffet, the food is much more fresh and tastes best right after they open, obviously. They seem to let the food sit in the buffet pans for way too long which makes it dry, hard and void of flavor.
