Really liked it. Food was great and came out fast. We had a lovely young lady as our server.

Same Same Thai is consistently delicious and excellent. We have visited the restaurant and ordered countless times and it’s always tasty. Additionally, I have a gluten allergy so I really appreciate that the menu is so clearly labeled. Really appreciate that attention to detail tha makes me feel safe.

I love Same Same!! I’ve been coming here for years and it always hits the spot. Their waterfall beef is my top go-to, alongside the chicken wings, panang curry, and homemade sausage. Their sidewalk pad thai is probably the best I’ve had too. Great chill walk-in vibes, good music, nice lighting, and their beer/wine list is lovely. The parking lot is small but there’s almost always a spot opening up from someone grabbing takeout 🙂

Take out Somtum, crispy egg rolls, lamb & garlic rice. Each dish was just right. Medium hot spiciness. Right temp. Crispy. We will be back.

Food is excellent as always. The pad Thai is out this world. I always get it to go, I live far away so that should say a lot. Perfect amounts of sweet, sour and salty. It rivals my other favorite Thai place and usually wins too. I love the atmosphere here. The staff are always cool. The spate of subpar reviews sound like they were written wannabe TikTok influencer children who know nothing about restaurants. I’ve worked in many and trust me, this one is a gem

Fabulous restaurant and loved sitting at the kitchen counter watching all the action. The food was spectacular and watching the efficiency on how the Chef directed everyone was amazing. Having worked in the industry for 15 years and personally having managed restaurants, I was still blown away.

The best Thai restaurant in Silverlake! Every dish we tried was amazing! My favorite was the drunken noodles and my partner liked the Pad See Ew. Everything was seasoned well, not too oily, and tasted authentic. This restaurant is a hidden gem and I will definitely be back.

I’m so sad! I ordered the BBQ chicken from here and it came to my table ice cold in the middle, the waiter acted like it wasn’t a big deal. They warmed it up and brought the same chicken back out that’s I had stuck my finger in to show it was cold. I’ve eaten here multiple times and have enjoyed my experience but the waiter didn’t offer another item on the menu or even bring us out a different piece of chicken. My BF ate it so it didn’t go to waste but I will not be returning. I did leave a tip but honestly still thinking about how I threw away money on this meal. ):

This evening, I entered the restaurant to pick up my order and stated my name. The employee (a male employee) was incredibly disrespectful, both in his demeanor and manner. Even after I’d given my order, he didn’t even have the decency to look at me, took it from behind the large counter, and placed it in front of him. Even extending the order, or at least making eye contact, must have been too much for him, as he failed to show even the most basic respect for the customer.

I’m genuinely curious: Does this employee realize he’s serving customers here, or does he think he’s doing them a favor? We’re not asking for a free favor from this establishment; we’re paying for it. It’s both surprising and sad that someone who doesn’t understand such a simple point works at this establishment.

If there’s a manager or supervisor, they should definitely take this behavior into consideration. Employees who don’t even show basic respect for customers seriously diminish the quality of the establishment.

They offer solid prices on beer and a nice selection of food (~$7) for happy hour. We tried the chicken wings which were TINY but absolutely delicious! Salty and crunchy – the perfect snack. I tried the pad thai which was a little to sweet and saucy for me. Service is just okay: my friend ordered pork with a side of rice and she got the rice long before the pork. We had to ask when her main dish was coming out before the waiter acknowledged it was late.

They have a small lot out in front. It didn’t get crowded on Saturday night until 8pm. Good for small groups, and bar seating is available if you just want to get a quick drink or dinner.
