Had an awesome experience at Hen House Sports Bar & Grille! I ordered the buffalo chicken panini and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and just the right amount of kick.
The staff really made the visit stand out. They were super friendly, playful with guests, and created a fun, laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to hang out awhile.
And the beer selection? Top tier. Great taps across the board — and yes, Maine Lunch IPA on draft (cough cough) definitely sealed the deal.
If you’re looking for great food, cold beer, and a place that feels welcoming the second you walk in, this is it. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was amazing. We ate so much we almost had to be rolled out. The setting is very casual and laid back. Will definitely put this on our list of places to get to wherever we can. The gravy in the shepherds pie was so delicious I dipped my bread in it and couldn’t stop. Can’t wait to see what specials they have weekly!

Wife and I took a ride on the motorcycle to get something to eat at saddle up saloon,unfortunately it was Monday and they were closed. No offense to saddle up but it was actually very fortunate because we googled another place to eat near by and the Hen House came up. We figured what the hell let’s try it. The food was delicious and the bartender Meghan was very personable. I highly recommend this place for some food and drinks if you’re in the area. Job well done to the chef everything was so delicious!

Nice pub off the beaten path with solid food. Good TVs and wooden interior gives the pub a barn feel. There is a small deck out front. Easy parking. The Nachos were awesome. The menu had wide choices. Will definitely be back.

Visited to see a local, turned famous singer Tom Dixon. Had the Italian wedding martini, pineapple upside down cake drink & the chili cheese waffle fries. Oh my gosh, it was all DELICIOUS! I live about 40 minutes away, but would go again for the food as well as atmosphere. It was like Cheers for the area, everyone knew everyone & were very friendly.

Great hidden spot to eat. We went with a friend and it was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome, she suggested the cauliflower pizza, at first I was skeptical, but she highly recommended it. I’m not gluten-free and loved it. It was more like a thin crust pizza and I would get it again for sure. My husband had a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries, which the wrap was good, fries were great. Our friend had steak tips with mashed potatoes and broccoli, she enjoyed it and the portion size was generous where she had leftovers. Our waitress didn’t rush us ans told us we could wait out the severe thunderstorm happening even after our bill was paid. Great place with exceptional service!

I like the location with the Hen House surrounded only by woods. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. I picked up a pound of wings that were both big and tasty. I appreciate the choice of sauces. My only critique: way too many TV screens. It’s visually jarring.
