Absolutely incredible! The Chianti Margarita is so good. The focaccia is some of the best bread I’ve ever had. All of our entrees were spectacular – don’t miss out on the lasagna especially! The “outdoor” patio is such a cozy and warm space! Perfect for a date night!

This place is delicious with a capital -LIOUS. We sat in the patio portion and ate amazing Spaghetti Bolognese, Penne Boscaiola and a cheese pizza for my kiddo. We also go the cheesy bread with marinara. Can I tell you it was the best damn cheesy bread. The owner/chef couldn’t have been kinder or hustle harder. I don’t know if it’s the norm, but he was the only one working and he did it all to perfection and quickly. My daughter said she would give the food 100 stars. Highly recommend and I’m so happy we stopped by on our trip.

Such a cool little joint! The guy surging was I believe the owner, so that is always cool to see! I had a glass of Chianti. It was delicious. For the main dish, I asked for a recommendation. It was a creamy pesto penne with shrimp. Absolutely unreal……. It was perfectly balanced and savory! 9/10!

Quite a gem.
I got the 3 meatball appetizer, lunch special pizza with pepperoni and the chicken piccata.
The meatballs were perfectly seasoned, had nice texture and the garlic bread was flavorful and toasted nicely.
The lunch special pizza was like comfort food, perfect ratio of toppings and cheese and nicely cooked crust.
The chicken piccata was delicious with very tender chicken and a nice tangy sauce. It also came with roasted vegetables which was nice. It had the perfect amount of sauce.
Great service.

I’ve been meaning to write a review about this place. First of all I usually always order the same thing. Medium pepperoni with olives. It’s a perfect cheat meal and the food is always good. There are many places in Greenwood where I can get pizza even though I live next-door to this place the pizza for some reason it’s always made with care. All the ingredients like the pepperoni and olives are always assorted around the pizza nicely. Each bite you get some of the ingredients that you’ve ordered. It’s not too heavy, but not too light. It’s enough to fill you up. The pepperonis they use are thin and it’s just enough crispiness you get that crunch but not so thick and greasy you where it feels like a mouth full of grease. I’ve never gotten a burnt pizza. It’s always made perfect.

Italio has a lot going for it, starting with genuinely kind people and excellent pizza dough—the crust is absolutely fantastic, and the pizza itself was good. I didn’t try the pasta, but what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked promising. The wine-based cocktails were generous and enjoyable.
That said, the antipasto missed the mark on authenticity. The selection included pepper jack and Colby cheese, along with Greek pepperoncini, which felt more “anti-antipasto” than Italian. For comparison, Local 104 does a great job here, with house-pickled vegetables, proper Italian cheeses, and thoughtfully selected cured meats.
Service was kind but sporadic, which slightly disrupted the flow of the experience. Overall, Italio shows real potential—especially with its dough and drinks—but tightening up authenticity and service consistency would elevate it significantly.

This restaurant was a very nice experience for us and two kids. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun, with great music at a great volume (restaurants rarely get the volume right). The electric fireplace and candles were a nice touch. The food and service was really good- maybe the best focaccia we’ve had in Seattle. We really appreciated the vegetarian options like fried zucchini, pastas and a great selection of salads. A hidden gem in the neighborhood.
