Small place, nothing fancy but the food was pretty good. I grew up eating my mom’s homemade Mexican food so my standards are very high when It comes to Mexican restaurants. It’s better than most Mexican restaurants I’ve been too around this area, it’s taste really good but just doesn’t taste 100% authentic to me. However I wouldn’t mind eating here again, the food portions were more than enough, I was not able to finish my nachos. So overall I liked it, just didn’t love it but I do recommend it if you’re in the mood for good Mexican food.

Every time I come to JVS, I leave happy. Amazing food, great portions, and such a welcoming environment. You can feel the love in the food. This place is a gem for the community. Definitely my go-to spot!

I loved this little gem. They had a seating area in the back that was quiet and had a bunch of cushions the benches. They served cups and salsa before you even order. The server was considerate when I asked about how spicy things were. She gave suggestions of dishes that could be vegetarian. I got the chiles rellenos, and as you can see I devoured them before I could even take the picture.

Food is good but every single time we order the prices are jacked up and don’t match the menu. $30 for an order of nachos and one drink?
Last time they tried charging $45 for 2 orders of tacos listed as $13 on the menu. I canceled that order so quick. I feel like on slow days they double the prices

Nice spot..opening another in Atlantic City soon. Chorizo tacos were good but lacked salt for my taste. No problem..add it on along with green sauce and it was a nice snack.

I was trying to place an order & i live literally right over the bridge & the lady on the phone said she couldn’t deliver to me. Only to pleasantville when i literally live right over the bridge.. right down the street. Explained that i would pay with card & show my id if there was an issue. Still had push back. The business is located in Atlantic City technically.. but they can deliver all over Pleasantville this is ridiculous.

The chicken fajita was delicious!! On my second visit they were out of chicken (we got there late on a Saturday so I understand why they ran out). It seemed to be a busy place with lots of take out going on. I settled on a cheesesteak with the works and it was Fabulous! The fries were also very tasty. I would definitely go back there to eat.

The food was so good, i did not get a chance to take pictures because i had to dig in! But listen this is authentic with authentic mexican flavors! Handmade tortillas, fresh meats with good seasonings! We will be back! And i will take pictures next time! 10/10!
