I used to work over in downtown Carmel and would always see so many people coming in and out from my cafe from here so I decided to come and test it out now that I’m 21. I walked in and I’m hit with the immediate smell of cigar and cigarettes. You are allowed to smoke in here I did see it in reviews before I came so I was not tripping over this at all. The service was immediate but the pour was like I was drinking straight juice, Waste of $6 for the drink I got. The only time I felt like I was actually drinking was when I got a shot of Tito’s and a high noon from the cooler. I got an amaretto sour and it again was straight juice and not even the right kind of juice it was not an amaretto sour at all. I will not be back and I hope you will listen to these reviews before you visit. The atomosphere is good lots of laughs and good conversations everywhere. Quick service will come but at the price of you paying for juice. The pricing is decent about $6 for a high noon, $6 for a shot of Tito’s, and $6 for the “amaretto sour”

The Tuesday night Bartender was painfully rude when the bar only had about 15 people in it all smoking cigarettes. With plenty of room in the entire bar the bartender decided to make it point that I was blocking her bar?! Nobody was waiting to get a drink and I was most definitely not blocking anything where anyone could get a drink in this spacious bar that was empty. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO NEVER COME TO THIS BAR AT LEAST ON TUESDAY! THE BARTENDER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND ACTED LIKE EVERYONE WAS A BOTHER AND SHE DIDNT WANT TO BE THERE!

First of all, why do people go to a bar that still allows smoking and then COMPLAIN? Secondly, they apparently do not allow people to wear their caps backwards. Be respectful and don’t wear a hat indoors plain and simple.
Love me a dive bar and this fits the bill. I would love it if there were a few more drafts available, but no worries because there is beer in bottles and cans.
I didn’t try any food because I went to a dive bar! I know better, and if I ended up having something I wouldn’t complain BECAUSE IM AT A DIVE BAR.

Our favorite Bar in town! Ive been going there since 1988 and go in there with my Sons who are regulars there. Great place to go and have a Cigar and a Beer. Bruce and the Staff are laid back and always good to us. It is the best time around the holidays, most of the people from out of town are there (that have grown up in Carmel) and you can run into and old friend! Check it out!

I got booted out for no reason. I didn’t disrespect anyone, my friend just asked for a drink, and the lady looked at me and said I could leave. I asked why, what did I do? She said if you don’t have an open tab, I’m not giving you anything. But my friend, who looks different from me, walked up and got a drink. I feel highly offended and left without a fuss because I don’t see why treat others that way. We are all human. Definitely was a racist bartender. She was a heavy set caucasian lady .

A little slice of old school Americana. Warning, they do still allow smoking. Some nights are bad but mostly fine. The atmosphere is great, the crowd is great and the bartenders are great, especially Soren!

Utterly disgusting smells and tastes like cigarettes. I was kicked out by a bartender for wearing my hat backwards which is apparently a rule. The person who told me looks like a normal person so I didn’t know it was a worker. They gave me no second chances and just told me to leave. I wasn’t acting out or rude at all. Would not recommend
