Visited Kouklas Cafe for the first time today with my sisters. This cafe is located inside the Lucca’s pizza shop. I have been seeing this cafe for a while now on instagram and the IG posts did not lie, the cafe, the music and the ambiance are super cute. We ordered shakshuka, lahmajun, French toast and coffee of course. The taste of the food surprisingly was very good. The price of the food was a little on the pricey side but thankfully everything we ordered was delicious. The coffee decor is so girly with the flower petals and butterflies. The cafe is small however they have a patio seating as well. I think the owner was this nice lady with short dark hair, she was very welcoming. I liked everything about this place however I wish they would put some type of short wall between the cafe and the pizza area as the pizzeria section takes away from the cuteness of the cafe. Other than that I loved this place and would definitely recommend it to all of my family and friends.

The pizza was pretty good. The cannoli was the worst cannoli I have ever had. They dont make the shells and the ricotta cream was inedible. We asked for ranch on the side for our salad and they put it on the salad. Will not be coming back. Service was very slow. I also noticed they were serving a bottle of Charles Shaw (i.e. two-buck chuck) – that’s a red flag.

Amazing all around, the customer service is heartfelt and inviting. The food is made fresh with quality ingredients and is handled with care & respect. The pizza has a very light crush which I enjoy so you won’t feel like you’ve just eaten a brick or feel like your jaw muscles need a steroid injection just to eat it lol. They have a very large selection of drinks, deserts, etc! I recommend you come and give them a try I promise you won’t be disappointed!

A unique place with excellent food and desserts and very cozy atmosphere! Lots of parking spots around too. Got the pesto pasta, highly recommended! Homemade pasta and desserts from the owners! Go check it out!

This is the most amazing experience I’ve ever had in a while. I love real Italian food and good wine. Well, I found everything in one place. The wine selection is amazing. You pay retail price and open the bottle in your table. But you have to finish the bottle. (No problem).
The “Best Pizza” you are going to find in San Diego, the marinara sauce, is extremely delicious. It is made from scratch, no with tomato can. The grill chicken is so tender, juicy, and so flavored. Besides that they are very, very clean. This restaurant is something seriously AMAZING!!

Super cute place run by a very gracious and warm family. I had a perfectly made matcha latte in the lovely coffee shop area as well as a tasty pizza that had a light and crisp crust. Will definitely plan to go back again sometime.

My experience was absolutely amazing I do not know where to start! The chef made me the freshest, most tastiest chef’s special pasta that had a wonderful blend of veggies and chicken. I then went to the must see “all pink” cafe/bakery and enjoyed a beautiful slice of pistachio cake. I WILL be back to try more!

Reviews don’t lie, the pizzas are so good! Specially the BBQ chicken! The chicken Parmigiana absolutely delicious!!! We were a large party and were treated with so much kindness and attention. They have a fantastic selection of wines and draft beer. But of course never forget dessert… we tried chocolate cake, lemoncello and we also tried the oreo cake. Parking was very easy, searing inside and outside available. Fabulous, we’ll come back!
