Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding—clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients—and every dish we tried was delicious. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend.

My wife and I went to Spuntino for her birthday based on a recommendation from a friend and it was a great experience through and through. It is a cozy restaurant situated in a fun part of town. We were sat quickly and greeted by our wonderful server, Janine. She was personable, inviting, and walked us through the menu since it was our first time. We loved the Focaccia & Ricotta and the Arancini was delightful. Both of our entrees, Fazzoletti and Gnocchetti, did not disappoint either. We finished things off with an Espresso Chocolate Torte and and Espresso Martini that they split into two glasses for us without us even needing to ask. It is clear that Spuntino has an eye for detail and employs staff that truly want their patrons to have the best experience possible. Bravo to the entire team! We will certainly be back for more lovely memories and delicious food.

Fantastic venue for a date night. The food was exceptional with vibrant notes of Indian spices carefully woven into each dish. But our waitress made the experience with how kind and helpful she was throughout our meal 10/10.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Denver.

The service was great. Our server described the dishes in a way that make our mouths water and gave recommendations that did not miss.

The burrata, the foccacia, the lasagna and the dumpling pasta was all amazing. The flavor profile of the dumpling pasta was like nothing ive ever tried and the cherries took it to another level.

Can’t wait to go back

Very unique fusion of Italian dishes with Indian flavors. I could tell the food was fresh and well-made, the flavors just weren’t for me. We tried four different dishes knowing about the Indian influence but none of them really stuck out to us minus the focaccia and ricotta with the roasted garlic, that was delicious. A lot of the flavors just felt too strong for the dishes, which I will chalk up to my own personal taste. We did have great service and everybody was very friendly. Still happy we tried this place as we had been wanting to try for a while.

This spot appears on a lot of “must try” lists and we had high expectations. There were moments of pure brilliance. Flavors that were exceptional. Super friendly staff that appear to enjoy what they do. And the wines certainly were a highlight. The place was packed and they know how to draw a crowd. The place is also loud. Like a big family gathering where too many conversations are going on and you don’t know where to put your attention.

And there were quite a few misses and a lot of room for improvement. We had a reservation, but they were so busy we had to wait for 20 minutes before were we seated. Not a major item if that was where it ended.

We started with the focaccia e ricotta. Hit and miss. The focaccia had burnt ends and was over cooked. The flavors were spot on! And the ricotta had the perfect consistency.

The granchio – jumbo crab, potato cake and egg – was nearly perfect. The crispy salty potato melded beautifully with the crab. The creamy consistency of the egg pulled it all together. Our only issue was plating. The potato was hidden at the bottom under a bunch of greens that didn’t seem necessary and made eating the dish a bit more difficult.

The ravoilini was also conceptually brilliant, but not executed as well. The lemon overwhelmed this entire dish. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The texture of the elements, including the shallot and peas was great. But the flavor was one note – lemon. And more lemon.

The gnocchetti was spectacular. The pasta had a nice tooth feel. The pork bolognese with a hint a spicy undertones was great and unexpected. This was nearly perfect. The one note, and we noticed it throughout the meal, is the seasoning level. This dish had a lot of salt, and I really like salt. It was nearly at my upper end of tolerance.

The pesce – fish dish – was our least favorite. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly, but it sat on top of crunchy couscous. Some bites were great, but inconsistent.

They did have a great wine selection, including Kopke tawney port to go with dessert. Excellent!

And that describes this spot. Inconsistent. And a lot of potential. They get the people in. Can they get them to come back? Unclear.

One and done.

Many apologies for the picture but I didn’t put my knife and fork down until I was full! Ok so the menu is seasonal but the proteins are the same. We’ve been coming for a year so I’ve had all the seasonal changes. I always get the chicken(pollo). My favorite side is the risotto(remnants pictured). The rotating seasonal side they pair with the pollo always compliments it perfectly, but it’s just something about that butternut squash risotto! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend! I’ve done the research…eat here! The service is excellent. Kristin is amazing. She’s bubbly and super attentive.

Fantastic anniversary dinner at Spuntino. Kind, helpful staff and excellent, creative food. We ordered the elk tartare, burrata, cavatelli, bass, plus the torte and some HOMEMADE amaros. Nothing missed. The tartare and cavatelli especially are must-order dishes due to their Indian fusion flare. The cavatelli has a korma base and was a real revelation for us.

We will be back! Thanks again yall!

A wonderful little spot with tasty food and great service. Everything we had was amazing! The pasta was spectacular and fresh and the desserts were out of this world. It can get a little loud but not too bad. Would definitely go again!
