I have never written a review like this before, but after tonight’s experience I feel obligated to warn anyone in the Tinley Park area: do NOT support Subway at 17217 Oak Park Ave.
I placed a family meal order through Instacart/Uber Eats — two sandwiches, chips, cookies — totaling $39.99. When the food arrived, I genuinely thought there was a mistake. In the pictures below, you’ll see exactly what I received:
Two sandwiches with barely any meat.
One “chicken teriyaki” had maybe 3 ounces of meat — and that was after I paid for “extra.” The worker on duty actually had to lift the bread and search around the sandwich to even show me where the meat was hiding. That alone tells you everything.
To be charged nearly $40 for two 6-inch sandwiches and then handed something that looks like it was rationed out during a food shortage is unacceptable. And the worst part?
No apology. No accountability. No refund. No care.
Just excuses.

People dont post enough positive expieriences on google and this place deserves props. I have been obsessed with subway since i was a kid and i refuse to go to any other one except this location. My sandwich is PERFECT every time. The veggies are always fresh and crispy, never wilted and freezer burnt like the other places. It’s bright and clean inside. And the employees are super sweet. If you’re a subway person, 10/10 recommend this location only!!!! Im pretty sure it’s under new management as well, they’re just great now!!

This restaurant does not provide good business. Bread is always overcooked and they don’t put all ingredients on sandwich. They never answer there phone and always have excuses. They really shouldn’t own a business

Great experience! The girl preparing my sandwich was so friendly & even divided up my footlong in 2 separate bags after I told her 1 half is for tomorrow. She put the mayo on the side as to not have a soggy sandwich the next day. And she did all of this without me asking for it! Customer service at its best.

Customer beware of late hours. Google said they closed at 10pm, their store hours on the door were posted that they close at 10pm, but at 9:25pm they were closed. The worker told me Google was wrong (but it matched the posted hours on the door). I actually only needed gift cards, no food, but he had already shutdown their register and all food was already packed away. He was closed long before 9:25. It’s fine if you don’t want to stay open til 10pm, Google can be wrong, but at least change your posted door hours to reflect that. Please don’t tell me Google is wrong when your store hours on your door says the same.

Great restaurant, my boyfriend and I always visit at least once a week. The staff is super kind, and gets to know their frequent visitors. They are never afraid to strike up a conversation with customers- new or old. Extremely friendly staff. In particular, there’s an aunt and niece who I see every time that make our experience awesome. They keep the store very neat and orderly. I have never had a bad sandwich here. They fill it to the brink of explosion every time, and take their time properly layering every ingredient. I don’t understand the bad reviews I’ve read at all, it is an incredible business with incredible staff. Thank you!!

Update 4/25 nothing changed. Wonderful staff–great service and food.
The store is clean, and the staff is polite. This Subway seems to be under new management. I have not had any complaints about the food or service.

Called ahead of time to see if location took coupons bc other location had a crime scene going on. They said they did so we came, both were on calls on they’re phones even while taking our orders. While making the sandwich they barely gave us any meat and toppings until I asked to keep putting more. Got to checkout and was told she didn’t accept the bogo coupon we had. You shouldve said you only took select ones but you didn’t clarify.
