Reviews
To explore West Yellowstone National Park, I decided to rent a bike and came across a local bike rental shop.
What truly amazed me was not just the high-quality bikes but also the exceptional hospitality of the people in West Yellowstone.
This bike rental shop exceeded all expectations!!
Not only were the staff incredibly warm and considerate toward travelers, but the quality of the bikes was unparalleled.
I have rented bikes from various places before, but I have never come across such well-maintained, high-performance bicycles.
Thanks to their excellent bikes, I was able to explore the breathtaking landscapes of West Yellowstone in the best way possible.
After a long ride through the park, I craved a warm cup of coffee.
To my delight, the shop also had a coffee bar, so I decided to try it.
I wasn’t expecting much, but from the very first sip, I was completely blown away.
The coffee was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had—far superior to even the most renowned coffee shops.
The depth, richness, and perfect balance of flavors made it truly unforgettable.
If only I had discovered this coffee shop on my first day in Yellowstone, I would have visited every morning, afternoon, and evening!
Unfortunately, I found it only the day before I left, which was my biggest regret.
When I think of Yellowstone now, this bike rental shop is the first thing that comes to mind.
The kind and wonderful people working there, their warm hospitality, and the genuine care they show to travelers left a lasting impression on me.
If you ever visit West Yellowstone, this is a place you absolutely must stop by—not just for a bike or coffee, but for an experience that will make your trip even more special.
Here we are 10 years later, and had the chance to visit Yellowstone in the winter. Happened to be during quite a cold snap (-36F as a low one night). During this trip, we hiked, snowshoed, snowmobiled to Old Faithful, and the capstone was the chance to try Nordic skiing. Which my wife and I LOVED. Melissa was awesome, set us up with boots, skis, poles, gave us great suggestions over where to try, some pointers on technique, and suggested we wait til it warmed up a tad. We were eager to learn, so gave ourselves a test run on the Boundary Trail (complete newbies). After a fall or two, we figured it out pretty well, and went for lunch at The Buffalo Bar. After lunch, we set about the work of exploring the Riverside Trail. We headed out in some nearly virgin tracks, and hit most of the Upriver Loop. Seeing the Madison River with so much snow in it was beautiful! (photo) Despite a minor fall where I tweaked my ankle, we had a wonderful time, and will definitely try XC skiing again, thanks to this great experience! Thank you Freeheel and Wheel!
