My recent stop at this restaurant was purely spontaneous, but it turned out to be a fantastic choice right along my route. From the moment I walked in, the experience was great, defined by genuinely top-notch food and service.
The quality of the main dish was outstanding. I ordered the Veal, and it was perfectly prepared—incredibly tender and wonderfully well-balanced in flavor. This is definitely a spot that takes pride in its cuisine.
What truly elevated the meal was the service. A huge thank you to the waitress, Hazer, who was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire visit smooth and enjoyable.
If you are looking for an excellent dining experience, I highly recommend making a stop here.

This place is amazing. The service and quality of food is second to none. They have the absolute best steak (perfectly dry aged in house) you will ever have. Do not try any place with “Prime” in the name, just go to Nataz. We have been to this location half a dozen times and have NEVER been disappointed.

Unbelievable experience! Service was unparalleled from the moment we walked in. Tyler and Heather were thee best Server / Manager combo ever. The food was insanely good. The wedge salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. I went with a Swordfish Special that was unbelievable. And the tiramisu was heavenly. 5 Stars without question! TY!!

My coworker and I happened to stumble upon this place on OpenTable and we’re so glad we did! Heather was an outstanding server and was able to multitask efficiently as the restaurant was busy tonight. Tyler, the manager, was personable and attentive. Everything we ordered was truly fantastic. The meatball appetizer melted in our mouths with a delicious savory sauce to accompany it. Our entrees were outstanding and the portion sizes are quite large! You’ll have leftovers you’ll look forward to eating the next day. Highly recommend and will be back next time I am in Connecticut.

Excellent on all criteria! Dinner for seven on a Friday night can be challenging. We were ALL delighted with Nataz in Clinton! Our server, Carl, was totally attentive, informative…and fun! The fixed price format covers a board of ‘nibbles’, bread, salad, entre, and dessert. All were generous and satisfying! The entres we ordered included the house signature Heavenly, a seafood Zuppa, large lamb chop lollipops, filet mignon, and a Braised Pot – All excellent! For two of us the portions called for take-home in lovely insulated bags! The desserts we chose included tiramisu, coconut custard tart and NY cheesecake – delicious and generous portions (there were no sorbet or ice cream options). Note: there were three interesting vegetarian offerings!
While we have eaten at the Nataz restaurants in North Branford and Southington, this was our first time at Clinton. The space is in an old bank building – two levels. The main floor has an open bar and visible food preparation, while the upstairs is a loft that looks down on the lower level. The original arched windows of the bank add to the atmosphere.
The bill is a bit pricey but absolutely worth it! Note: there is an automatic 20% ‘service charge’ which is clear on the menu and Carl also reminded us up front. Parking on the adjacent street is limited, but there are ground lots nearby – both free. Great spot – recommend it unconditionally!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by our experience at Nataz in Clinton on 12/27/24.

We were greeted by Tyler and seated immediately.

Heather was our server and she delivered excellent service.

The food was delicious we had the grazing board, poutine , the original salad, ribeye and zuppa entrees.
For dessert i had the chocolate cake and he had the coconut custard . Everything we ate was exceptional.

My one critique is for us we shouldn’t have ordered the appetizer because the 4 course Meal was an abundance of food.

Would definitely recommend and return.

Heather and Tyler provided us with a 5 star experience

We have been here often but went last night to try the Adventures in Eating menu and it was fantastic! I thought it would be a tasting menu with samples of dishes brought out but they were all full portions and by the time our entrees came we were so full we could only barely touch them and ending up taking them home. The food was so delicious and the staff of Heather, Michael and Tyler were the best!

Excellent experience last night with the amazing and creative Adventures in Eating concept, where the chef surprises you with multiple gourmet courses. The value was outstanding at $25, and every dish was beautifully prepared. We also had a chance to chat with Tyler, the manager, who was genuinely welcoming and engaging.

My only suggestion would be to simplify the pricing by building the ‘living wage surcharge’ into the meal cost. For example, a $30 multi-course experience would still be a fantastic deal, and it would eliminate the annoying suprise to guests and save the staff from having to awkwardly explain the extra fee and whether or not an additional tip is needed (which I understood to be still appropriate on top of the surcharge…but still not sure).

Overall, a truly fantastic experience, and we’re very glad to have them in town!
