Don’t let the humble exterior appearance of the place deceive you; the food here is good, you receive exceptional service from the staff, and the atmosphere is just welcoming. Great service and great food. Had 2 tacos for breakfast. 1.Bacon, egg, bean, and cheese. 2 carne guisada, bacon and bean. Tacos were good size and the price was right. Food was fast and hot. Go get you a lil sum sum.

It has been my experience in dinning out for breakfast or lunch that this small restaurant is a genuine place to eat home cooked meals with daily specials. If you plan on going out to eat here, for your information, they close daily at 2:00pm.

Honestly worst burrito I have ever had. I was starving and it was beyond disappointing. Never again! They forgot my salsa and the burrito was so dry and tastes I couldn’t barely even eat it. What a let down.

This was one of those cliches “hole in the wall” restaurants. It is a tiny place and when we walked in, it was super busy and there were only 2 waitresses. Several tables still had the dirty plates from the previous customer so we just picked a table and stacked everything to one side. We sat and waited for about 10 minutes when our waitress came by and apologetically greeted us, took our drink orders and gave us our menus. Prices were decent. Once she took our order, the food came back in an adequate amount of time.

This place has the best tortilla soup around!!! I used to eat here at least once a week when I worked in the area and now that we’re back down this way, I can’t wait to go back!! The portions are huge and they will literally fill a large to-go cup with soup if you ask for some to-go!!! And their sweet tea is amazing!!!! Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in town!!

Best Carne Guisada in corpus. I’m a local so I’ve eaten at several locations, but this is the best by FAR. Warm homemade tortillas with butter OMG so delicious. The staff is so nice . Can’t say enough on how great this place is.

Its clean looking, same menu, same taste, crowded for lunch. Nice selection from the menu. I personally love the mini tacos. Any choice you make is pretty good. The service is good but can be slow if they are texting or not.
