We had excellent food and service here. The stall was super friendly. My burger was cooked perfectly! The kids food was very good. Spouse had the Taco Salad and said it was amazing. Daughter had an amazing wrap as well. If you are passing through Waukon, Iowa, stop in and give this place a try.

Visited relatives in Waukon and lunched at Uptown Grill. Service was great and the restaurant was nicely decorated. The burger I had was overcooked. Was not asked how I wanted it done when ordering. Could tell it was a preformed patty and not fresh beef. The fries were great. A fresh beef hand packed patty goes a long way.

They double booked the event room. The only reason we found out was because we doubled checked 3x. A week before the event we had to scramble to find another location. Caused alot of stress. So I advise if doing a event here check if your confirmed 3x + . They don’t look or write stuff down. Idk if the food is any good. We found a better location to go.

I never give reviews as we understand busy but . Waited a while for food which was no big deal at all . Once we got ordered and brought our food tortellini didn’t have shrimp we ordered . No big deal we’re very forgiving. Supposed to get a salad with it and the waitress said “either no salad or I can get a to go box “ . They had an hour before closing and this response was said in a rude way. We under stand busy but poor customer service is not fun . She could have offered to go get the salad her self since we paid for it she had plenty of time…or offer something else !!!Or anything nice not even a sorry! Table next to us got their salad that came after us they had a different very polite waitress . Food was good otherwise . Lady had straight pony tale and glasses green shirt .we said have a great night first as well. Just rude.

We sat at the bar and I had the soup and salad combo and a Bloody Mary on a Saturday afternoon. The soup was hot and tasted good. Salad was fresh and crisp. My husband had the Uptown Burger and tater tots. He couldn’t finish all of his tots, burger was a fairly ordinary burger. Affordable pricing. Large portions.Friendly efficient staff. The Iowa football game was on the TVs which we were hoping for. I only wish I would’ve taken a few pics of our food.
