Unassuming from the exterior, tucked away in a strip mall, this is a smashing Italian restaurant. So much more than pizza. The staff are lovely, Morgan was super friendly and really attentive. The place is spotless, and food is great! The carbonara was to die for, and all of their Pizzas were superb. The base of the Brooklyn was like focaccia, and was super light. Great wines and cocktails. We will be back 100%

Edit: Second Visit: The Sicilian Pizza was quite good. Original Visit: Nice. Our waitress was perfect. NY Pizza is my least favorite style, so I was just along for the ride. I hope to return for the deep dish or some pasta instead.

This is one of our favorites here in Myrtle Beach! We originally ate at the Carolina Forest location but once they opened up closer to our house, we started coming to this location. We generally get takeout from here once a week and if not that, it’s every other week! We LOVE this place! Their pasta dishes are awesome…full of flavor, nice sized portions and always hot and fresh! The staff is super friendly and knows us when we walk in the door. They always get our orders right and make sure we have everything we need before we walk out of the door. The pizza here is phenomenal as well. When we dine in, the servers are attentive, friendly and thorough. We cannot say enough about this place, you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful dining experience at River Oaks, and our evening was made even better thanks to our waitress, Gabby. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out—her recommendations were spot on.
The spicy mussels were a perfect start—full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. The chicken piccata was tender and perfectly balanced with a zesty lemon-caper sauce, and the caprese was fresh and vibrant. To top it off, the cannoli cheesecake was unforgettable—rich, creamy, and a perfect fusion of two classic desserts. Paired with a smooth cappuccino, it was the ideal ending to a great meal.
River Oaks delivered on all fronts—ambiance, food, and service. Highly recommend, especially if you get Gabby as your server!

The best pizza place around here I have ever been to! The fried mozzarella was TO DIE FOR! We ordered the large chicken bacon ranch pizza and it did not disappoint! Ever staff member was extremely attentive and friendly. The interior of the place is BEAUTIFUL and has such a relaxing and warm ambiance.

The Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza was the star of the meal for myself, but we tried 6 of their pizzas, and all of them were fantastic. The server was kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend River Oaks!

The staff here was really nice and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is super clean and well kept. We ordered a standard round pepperoni pizza and the fettuccine Alfredo. The food took a little while to come out—not unbearable, just a bit longer than expected.
The Alfredo, unfortunately, tasted mostly like butter and heavy cream, and the pizza was okay but nothing particularly memorable. I’ve heard so many great things about this place and felt like I *had* to try it, but I didn’t really see what all the hype was about. Not trying to be a negative Nancy—this just wasn’t my favorite overall.

We really enjoyed it! The pizza was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The place is clean and well-kept with a nice atmosphere. Portions are generous with plenty of toppings. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
