We were a group of 9 people on Sunday night. Warm service, but it was clear they were not quite prepared for the rush. Service was very slow.
Coming to the food, fish kulambu with kal dosai was the star. The quantity was very generous as well. The starters were quite good. The soup selection was a bit let down.
The ambience was nice, but don’t expect sea views if you come for dinner. It is quite dark outside.
Overall this restaurant has good potential.

If you are looking to have some good seafood experience with a really good sea view ambience, this is your place. Tried their combo and loved the prawn gravy that came along with. Surprised at the thick consistency of the gravy which was too good. Also ordered era satti soru which was slightly low in masala. For those who prefer less spicy kadai sooru types, you will love it. Apart from these, try their parotta as well which was too soft. One of their USPs is that, they start preparing the food once you make the order and deliver it very hot in a hotpack. So, every order is hot and tastes like home food. Do give it a try especially at night to enjoy the parotta and try their prawn gravy especially which was my fav.

Visited recently for dinner . Tried Kal dosa with prawn curry combo and Kal dosa with Vanjaram Fish Kulambu. Yummy and drooling taste . Ordered Tawa Fry Tiger Prawns as well . Size of the prawns were medium but tasted well . Worthy for the price . Thumbs up for this new restaurant

If there is a homely seafood center in palavakam it is here at kallorun seafood restaurant. The blend of spices and ingredients in the fish tawa is out of this world. I would also like to thank mr. Krishna who’s the manager there for his homely hospitality since day one. Whenever I’m in Chennai I make sure I have a fish meal there. Ufff too too good. Highly recommend and worth every penny.

The food here is exceptional. We tried the paarai fish, lobster, and fish curry with rice. The paarai fish was very tasty and well-marinated, offering a delightful flavor. The lobster was cooked to perfection, adding to the overall enjoyment. The fish curry, while good, was a bit too sweet and could have been spicier to better suit our taste.
