Support small business! By the looks of it, this is a small family run business. Though small, there is some space for dining in. I took my food to go, as I live around the corner. The prices are average, but the real deal is the combo (2 rolls for $16 or 3 for $20–with miso soup added for just $1). There was one employee, I assume the owner, on property. He was business tidying up when I arrived (1hr before closing) but stopped when I placed my order on the kiosk.
The sushi was good. The miso was great—though I wish there was more seaweed.
Overall, may be my go to sushi stop especially bc of its proximity to me!

Been going here for years. In a sea of overpriced sushi spots either giving out tiny rolls, rolls with tons of filler without freshness, or focusing on decor rather than quality, this spot has exceptional fish and the rolls are FAT and flavorful! They have an excellent lunch special for 2 or 3 rolls and it’s super convenient being next to the ballston metro. It’s a no frills spot with just a few small tables if you want to eat there.

Sushi2Go is conveniently located next to the Ballston Metro Stop that offers quick, quality sushi for take out.
Their Yellowtail Scallion roll is absolutely delicious.
Because of its location, there is no parking available so Sushi2Go is best accessed via public transit or by foot.
Overall, the sushi is good but I find it a little pricey for what you get.
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

I went in the evening on a cold windy night. The restaurant was not weatherproof so it’s also cold inside near the window (and they only have window seatings unfortunately). I spent about $25 for a roll, dumplings and salad. Food tasted just edible. Roll seaweed was very humid and chewy, while it should be crispy. Dumpling filling was hard. I had a mild food poisoning wanting to throw up for all night. Maybe something was not fresh or clean. Overall, I regretted eating here.

Enjoyed a quick lunch of the three roll lunch combo: spicy Salmon rolls with cucumber, spicy tuna rolls with avocado and yellow tail scallion rolls. The rolls were made as I waited and I ate at the small 2-person table by the front window. Clearly this place is designed for takeout but is able to provide seating for the occasional person who wants to eat immediately. The rolls were precisely made with quality fish.

It’s a small cute spot for quick sushi meal or pick up orders. They have sushi and Kimbap. I ordered multiple rolls and they made it really quick. It was fresh and delicious! Spicy tuna roll was a little more spicy than other sushi place but I enjoyed it! I’d love to go back again

Wouldn’t recommend. The sushi was below average at best. I got a deal on an ordering app and got 2 rolls for $12 instead of $20 normally priced. These rolls are tiny and not worth $10 a piece. I ordered a spicy roll and Philadelphia roll. I didn’t even finish the Phili roll. Overall, for the price go elsewhere for sushi.

If you want quick and fresh sushi, this is the place to go. Fish to rice ratio is great and their seaweed salad is fresh. Their spicy rolls are actually spicy! It took them less than 5 minutes to make my two rolls. Prices are reasonable. Seating is very limited, like 4 chairs, but mostly people ordering for takeout.

Great small little place for sushi and all that type of food. It’s sort of hidden inside an office building but you can still see the store sign out on the roads. Don’t let its small compact size fool you. They have quality food and great service.
I came here randomly during the weekend as I live across the street. I walked in and was welcomed by what appeared to be the family that owns the shop. The elder female was very nice and walked me through their menu.
I ordered an eel roll, Alaska roll, and miso soup. We chatted up about eyes and vision for about 5 minutes and then I took my seat. I waited another 5 minutes For my food to come out. It was fast. Then again, they were just rolling things up and microwaving soup lol. But anyways, the food was delicious. The sushi was as expected and the miso soup had good amount of tofu in it. It was also steaming hot which made it super relaxing to sip on during a cold windy Saturday.
Btw just for reference, 1 sushi roll is 6 individual pieces.
The only downside to this restaurant is it can get pricey. My meal cost roughly $15. Im not sure if the portions justify for this cost but other than that it’s a solid place to grab a bite.
