The food was ok/good. We had loaded potato soup, burger, fries, onion strings & one of the night specials (beef stroganoff). The server was good. The atmosphere was cozy but definitely louder than I expected. Was barely able to hear the server or hear ourselves talk to each other without raising our voices. There was no problem with parking. Overall it was a decent place to have a meal. We will be returning to try other menu options.

My boyfriend asked me where I wanted to eat and I chose here because we kept passing by it on our way home and I kept saying I wanted to try it. We both got house salads, which were very fresh and crisp. He ordered the cod and parmesan fries and I ordered the club sandwich with onion straws. Both of us enjoyed our meals and our waitress was very friendly. The atmosphere was really nice too.

Great food and service. Cozy and has a real cool dinner look on the inside. Everything on the menu is fire

The beer battered fish was really good. There was a little wait for some of the service as they got hit with 2 large parties at once. Just a comment that since they are popular you may wish to aim for a slow time of day if you are in a big hurry. They are very polite and helpful.

Came for burger week. Burger tastes fine but isn’t too impressive. Can’t imagine paying $15+ for any of their other burgers, even with a side included. Burgers came out primarily medium, if not medium rare. My mom doesn’t eat burgers below medium well. Upon bringing this up, they said that they don’t cook the burger week burger to well done at all. This was without knowledge or informing us, and it’s nonsensical to have completely different rules for these burgers. Fries and onion straws were fine, nothing special. Very underwhelming experience, and looking at the prices I can’t imagine coming back. Waitress was nice and food didn’t take too long. Was incredibly loud inside due to all the groups of people talking, but this is probably just due to burger week.

Ate here last Friday night. My boyfriend used to come here all the time when he was younger and we wanted to try something new together. I’ll start with all the positives: Everything we ordered was delicious. The Wisconsin cheddar soup was some of the best soup I’ve had in a long, long time. I got chicken fingers and fries for my meal – the fries were cooked perfectly and the honey mustard dipping sauce was amazing. My boyfriend got the reuben with onion strings and he also had nothing but good things to say. We split a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. This, too, was delicious.
Now for the negative: Our server had a really bad attitude to start. Not sure if it had to do with us ordering water to drink, but he started off on a bad foot with a snotty comment. He brought us our waters and then never came back to take our order. We sat there for almost 15 minutes and my boyfriend eventually had to flag him down. When I placed my order, he said something along the lines of “I suppose you want ketchup, too?”, which isn’t really a bad thing to say, but he just sounded so condescending saying it. His service improved slightly throughout our meal, but still left me with a bad taste in my mouth. He never introduced himself, either. We didn’t get his name until we got our check.
Despite the bad to mediocre service, I would still go back. The menu here looks to have a lot of other really tasty things and the soup alone is worth going in for. I just hope service is better next time…
EDIT 3/4/19: Changing my review from 4 to 5 stars. Finally made it back and the service was much improved, no complaints whatsoever. The soup was still amazing. Their philly cheesesteak is phenomenal, though not exactly what you’d expect with a side of au jus but the flavors were so delicious. Will definitely be back and will probably try something else, which I’m sure will be very good based on my previous 2 experiences.

Atmosphere is nice, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, but… The grilled chicken club sandwich was sad. The “chicken breast” was the size of a single chicken tender and very thin/flat, filling only half the bread. And the bread was just… bread. It Texas toast, not a bun, or anything worthy of a chicken sandwich matching the price on the menu. And it was delivered with a tiny order of fries. You could get a better grilled chicken sandwich and more fries at Wendy’s, with a drink included, all for less money. This was our third of recent visits. The other two were better visits, bit most recent one was very disappointing.

Got the spinach dip, it wasn’t good, 4/10 very oily/greasy and served with a cheap round yellow chip, skip that… then I got a bacon cheeseburger and onion straws. Omg! 10/10! Absolutely delicious best burger in cincy! Ended with desserts 2/10. Pecan pie not much pecan to it and not much flavor, carrot cake cold, dense and very dry. Definitely get a burger and onion straws, skip the app and dessert, I’ll be back again to try more sandwiches, dinners and salads looked good. server was great
