I just ordered my food through door dash pick up I ordered , x large corn beef, jr corn beef 2 hamburger egg rolls, the corn beef sandwiches was good the eggs rolls was horrible the hamburger was old and hard the egg rolls was overcooked and hard I’m very disappointed because I go there all time and my food is usually good but not this time.

I was told it was pretty good so I decided to suspend my normal “car isn’t a dining room” and get a sandwich here.
Service perfunctory, just doing what had to be done.
First, it’s freaking warm in here! I know the big southeast-facing windows aren’t helping. Maybe put some tinting on them? Or run an air conditioning vent into the customer side? That 3″ thick, bullet-proof plexiglass sure isn’t helping, unless you want to project a “convenience store in a crime-ridden neighborhood” vibe. Is this area that sketchy? Should I avoid the area? That is certainly the message being sent.

A pastrami on rye with some spicy or brown mustard, please. I got a pastrami on rye with plain yellow mustard (only on coneys, people!) with a pickle spear. For $15+.

I will start off by saying this… It was my first time at this restaurant, and my food was not what I expected. I am huge on reviews. I dropped the ball on this one, because I did not read reviews until after I had my order.
I am a business owner myself, and I understand the impact of poor reviews based on unfair circumstances. Even though I was dissatisfied and the reviews for this restaurant were not the best. I still called in level headed and explained my issue. I spoke with Janiyah. She was one of the most pleasant people I’ve spoken with in a long time! She was super apologetic and made sure I was compensated at my leisure. When I picked up my remake, I ordered a piece of cake. She forced me to take it for free! Of course I forced a tip on her as well Bree was also amazing and kind! Side note: That food was slappin!!! And it was enough fries to feed a small congregation
I say all that to say this. If you visit a business and have a poor experience, don’t always be so quick too make a snap decision of not giving a second chance. The poor experience is not what makes a company. It’s what they do AFTER the poor experience that makes them or breaks them! Great job Mr. D’S, I WILL BE BACK!

Let’s start with friendly, clean, quality, delicious.
First impression is key, i was able to locate the company’s website to view their menu A+. Called into a friendly greeting, she listened and made sure she repeated my order. Very clean establishment, friendly faces A+. I paid $7 for Jr corned beef a full order of onion rings and a can of pop, A+. Hell of a value and it was really good!
I’m saying all of this to say I’m going back!!!!!

The Sandwich was very good. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere, well, it’s a corned beef place – there’s not a lot of atmosphere, to begin with. But that’s ok for me because I didn’t go there for atmosphere.
