I did not like this food! I ordered the bourbon chicken. 1st, it was a extra $2 for pork fried rice. Even thou it was on the menu with other dinners offering the same! 2nd, the chicken was dry! It needed more sauce! 3rd, I didn’t like the rice. It was dry and not tasty at all!!!!! We only stopped there because we were out in vermilion and wanted to try somewhere new. Definitely won’t ever go back! $45, almost $50. Just to feed 3 ppl and it was terrible.

We got take out for lunch on 02/12/26. Two complete meals which come with soup, fried rice and several different appetizers ( egg roll, rib, golden finger) with each meal. Our meals were chicken with broccoli and sweet and sour pork.
Sadly most of the items were extremely overcooked and dry! The meats were hard and dry and in some cases such as all of the appetizers were very greasy and not edible. The won ton soup was fine. The vegetables in the chicken and broccoli were cooked appropriately but the chicken was dry. The fried rice was dry and in places was in dried crispy clumps.

We’ve been going to Golden Crown for going on three years now, and we’ve had nothing but great food and lovely service every time we’ve gone. The food is excellent, and they work their hearts out. When you’re in the mood for Chinese, Golden Crown is the place to go!

I only took a point away because technically it is not an eat in restaurant, however you can purchase your food to go and sit at one of the tables or booths they have and have a bottle or canned beverage from their cooler.
All this being said the food was amazing and the lady that took our order was so friendly and helpful.

Put your Nikes on and run! Just DONT do it! Absolutely horrible, not only did it have no flavor but the Kung Pau chicken should’ve been labeled Kung Pau celery. When I informed the lady there was no chicken in it she says, “oh well, that’s how that dish is served- mostly vegetable…” not only that, but there is no hot tea available, and there are no servers, you order your food, and then you go sit down and they bring it to you in the to go containers. Eggrolls were straight out of a frozen package. You are better off going to the grocery store and buying some food to microwave.

Wife visits often. Can’t say enough great things about this place. The lady is super sweet and we love that she gives us a couple of extra fortune cookies for the kids. Also, if she sees my wife has the kids in the car she will come out and get payment and then come back with food and card. Just the most wonderful customer service someone could ask for.

Excellent Chinese food. I was in town visiting my Dad and was told Golden Crown had good food. I live in Cleveland, so I’m familiar with good Chinese food (Asian town), so I gave it a shot. I ordered the Cashew Chicken combination with steamed rice and a pork eggroll as well as a side of wonton soup. It was delicious. And for the first time, the spice level was perfect! I chose medium spice level. I enjoy Frank’s Red Hot, Tapatio, and Sriracha…but I also like to taste the food. It was perfect. Plenty of fresh veggies and spicy. The soup was good, as well as the eggroll. All for eleven bucks! Check this place out…you won’t be sorry.

Valerie is on one, y’all, don’t listen to that review. The breaded chicken is amazing, so crispy and the chicken isn’t dried out. Egg rolls are my favorite of my entire life. Someone said the egg rolls were frozen out of a grocery store, if that is the case please tell me which one because I would never eat another egg roll again if I always had access to these.
I love this place and always will. It’s a gem, and the woman working is so nice and sweet. Oh and the prices are hella affordable. I live in a big pretentious city on the West Coast and having an entire entree with 2 sides for less than $10 is completely impossible there. I bought two meals with sides, two soups and three drinks and it was still less than $30.
Quit your bellyaching and stuff your face with this GOOD FOOD. or move to Seattle and cry at food that is double the price only half as good as Golden Crown.
