Delicious Thai food! Love everything I’ve tried. The new special, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, are worth a try. Pho, pad Thai, chicken on a stick, and brisket are just a few of our favorites! Definitely a good place to eat.

Tried this place because my daughter is going to school in Russellville next year, and she loves Thai food. She ordered the Pad Thai….chewy chicken, ok at best. The curry is made with frozen soup mix vegetables (green beans, carrots, potatoes, corn, and peas) and is very, very thick…like gravy. It tasted like a spicy pot pie with rice in place of crust. It was not good…at all. When we went to pay, I gave the employee my card and said nothing. She asked “how was everything?” I said, “it was ok, not my favorite. I didn’t like the frozen vegetables.” She said, “everything is made to order, don’t order it with them.” I said, “well, I didn’t know they would be frozen…the menu says that it’s made with potato and carrot, which I would expect.” “Well, it’s made to order, so just get it without vegetables.” I said, “then it would be chicken and gravy”. To which she raised her voice and said, “everyone has their own opinion, sooo.” Wow!! Incredibly rude. Don’t ask “how was everything” if you can’t handle the answer!!! Lousy food, RUDE staff!

Forgot a pic but had brisket tips, fried rice and couple spring rolls. Very big portions and really wonderful food and service. Will return.

This is definitely my favorite spot in town. The food is great, the service is great and it’s locally owned. The owners are very nice people as well.

7/17/18 – Not realizing it had been a year since i had visited one of my favorite dine -ins, I decided to go to Kob Jai for lunch today.
As before, I was not disappointed. The brisket tips, rice and egg rolls were very good. If you’re ever in the mood for a big rib-eye steak, this is the place to go. Their steaks are extremely good.

Being a family-owned and operated restaurant, service is great! Everyone is friendly and caring. The food quality and flavor is not disappointing. Atmosphere and cleanliness is on par. If you are a local, consider this a 5-star review and ignore the rest of it. Now, if you are a tourist from out of town, the authenticity might disappoint you. The fried rice is made Chinese-style with green beans and diced carrot for vegetable. Pad Thai is also made Chinese-style with sweet soy sauce. The Papaya salad lacks sourness from lime juice. Though we are quite disappointed, their local reputation is solid and no change is ever needed as their wouldn’t be enough tourist traffic to convince. Authenticity aside, Kob Jai is definitely recommended.

the food rocks, the tea is AMAZING, and they have vegetarian options. the staff was decent. one of the girls working there seemed a little blah, but whatever because the others were really friendly. If you’re afraid of trying a new cuisine you don’t have to worry about it with this place. the food was definitely different from most places around here but it wasn’t overly exotic. trust me. don’t be intimidated. you’ll really like this place.

I was glad to find a restaurant with vegan options in Russellville. I was surprised they still were not offering dine in options in November, but I had the order delivered to the hotel so that worked out fine. I ordered medium spicy and it had an excellent spice factor and good flavor. I didn’t like how they did the tofu, it was a little slimy and there were not very many vegetables. I didn’t like the sauce that came with the spring rolls but I just used some of the sauce from my entrée. Good portion size. Really 3.5 stars

The food is unique and amazing! All of the dishes are bursting with flavor and make you crave coming back in the middle of the week. Portions are great and I always leave with extra for another meal. Prices are reasonable. Service is fast and very accommodating, pleasant smiling staff.

So happy this place is back! Their egg rolls are amazing, their pad Thai is on point, but their curry (Gang Deng) with sticky rice is my all-time favorite! The service is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. One of my favorite restaurants in Russellville!
