Service was fast and the lady was very nice. I got a roast beef sandwich and it was great- fresh lettuce and onion, the chicken & wild rice soup was also very delicious. I got a No.2 meal which came with the sandwich, soup, crackers, a pickle, and a drink for $10.5 so great deal to me!

The soup is always good..never disappointed. I decided to try the Oriental Chicken Salad the other day and the dressing was great but it only had Iceberg Lettuce and not much other stuff on it. That was disappointing considering the price.

Most the time I don’t think about this place, because it’s not open in the evenings, so if yours not close enough for lunch, weekends are the only option, since they are not open in the evening. It’s been here for years and is a great little soup and sandwich shop. They normally have several soups to choose from and wide selection of sandwiches too. You can’t really compare them to other places, because everything they do for ingredients is exclusive to them and not like other places. Prices are very fair and staff is friendly. If you’re able to get here for lunch during the week, give it a try. Otherwise, perhaps make it a point some weekend to stop in for lunch and see what this little somewhat unknown place is about.

Got the Texas barbecue sub for lunch, and cheddar broccoli soup for supper. The sandwich was tasty, and it was honestly hard to finish the whole 6 inch. The brisket is cooked perfectly, it’s pulled which was surprising to us but it works well. There’s not a lot of barbecue on it which isn’t necessarily a bad thing and there’s enough to taste it. The pickles are a little overwhelming, it tastes like they make their own because they’re really strongly seasoned. I took a slice off and ate it on its own so I could get the sandwich flavor without it and WOW. Again not necessarily a bad thing, just not my thing. The cheddar broccoli soup is pretty much exactly what you’d expect. The broccoli is completely blended up, no chunks, which I prefer. They were out of bread bowls unfortunately so haven’t gotten to experience that yet. My fiance got the cheddar potato soup and it was very thick and cheesy, more like a chowder which is never a bad thing, just don’t expect to dip bread into it very well lol. It also had pieces of what we believe to be ham which is pretty good with it, but was unexpected. The people there in the morning were a little less friendly than the ones in the evening, but still nice enough. Beware of the bell that goes off when you walk in the door, it’s quite unpleasant.

Really solid sandwiches and fast and friendly service. The menu is really large and the prices are fair. The kids meals are a decent deal at just over $4. My Reuben was delicious and filling!

So, the food’s okay; imagine Subway but limited on options and it cost a little more. But that isn’t my issue. The staff is lazy to the point that they almost won’t serve you, they don’t clean/wipe down tables, and they act like everything is the biggest inconvenience to them. I guess if you’re looking for a quiet place to be since there’s hardly ever anyone in there (for reasons I now know) where you can grab a decent bit to eat, this is the place.

Customer took me to Pickerman’s for lunch. Nice old school sandwich stop. I had a roast beef sandwich and chips (potatoes salad was out). Food came quickly and it tasted very good. Atmosphere was clean and the service was great. Chatted with the owner for a while who was super nice. Good visit

The gyro shouldn’t be on the menu, definitely wasn’t lamb meat, and it was gross, also the bread for the gyro was pretty hard and seemed aged. Soup was average, regular sub was average, but meat on it seemed cheap also. Just totally turned off by the food, and soup not being better for being a soup and sub joint. No hard feelings and no need for refund. Just won’t be returning

Always wanted to try this place and I finally got the chance to. When you walk in you’re greeted to the smell of freshly baked bread and the smiling workers. The employees are very nice and easy to converse with. I recommend the chicken salad on a croissant, it was delicious! Also very cheap for how filling it all is (Meals come with soup or chips). Will visit again!
