Visited Desi’s as a CUSTOMER for the 1st time ever Feb. 14, 2026. It is a small-ish type restaurant as there is a drive-thru (beer, pop, snacks ki d of drive thru) attached to the building. The employees greeted us & were polite. My daughter ordered a Samosa Chaat. It was $11.99. There were other customers dining in & while we waited for the food I noticed the employees serving water from glass water pitchers (nice touch!) The food didn’t take too long to prepare. The food looked delicious. Alot was in that bowl. Having never eaten Indian Cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the Chaat tasted! I should’ve gotten my own bowl! I like the Indian music videos that played & I even joked to my daughter that they gave her a new Indian name….her name is De’Anna but that spelled it like Deyana. My daughter wants to try more of their food choices so we will be back!

I didn’t expect to find a place this good in a small town in Ohio, but man! This place blows some restaurants I’ve had in big cities completely out of the water. The food is ALWAYS top notch. So flavourful, spiced just right. And so many options. Love the lamb korma and paneer bhatura, but honestly, everything I’ve tried is excellent. The service is excellent and friendly. I positively crave this place when I’m away. I’ve been here on a date and with a group. My nine year old loves it.

Legitimately the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Get the chicken Tikka you will not be disappointed. (I’ve had roughly 8 different places this year and hands down the best food) the nicest restaurant, and the mango lassi was delicious. I had to get 2

Very pleasant staff and server. Wonderful, authentic Indian food. Desi Swad is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I’ve brought my whole family and sometimes an enjoyable dinner with just my wife. The garlic naan is incredible!

A friend and I had a wonderful lunch today. We had a delicious Vegtable Pakora, followed by Chicken Curry, a Goat Curry with Bhatura bread and a Garlic Naan. Our server, Anu, was delightful and always followed up to make sure everything was perfect. And it was. Highly recommend you give it a try.

We moved and had been missing our favorite Indian place (Ajanta in Kettering). I’ve driven by this restaurant often but finally stopped to try it and I’m very happy I did.

Portions and prices were fine. We got take out, so can’t say much about service. What I did experience was kindness, quick service, and hospitality while I waited for my order, which took less than 10 minutes from order placement to walking out the door.

Their alive scale is 1-6. I got 2 which was perfect, just enough heat to feel it without taking away from the flavor. Your tolerance may vary.

We got tikka chicken masala, saag paneer, and garlic naan. It was everything we’d been missing. The saag paneer was amazing. The naan, flaky and garlicky. The tikka masala is the star in my opinion.

Will definitely be making this into a regular dine out option. Highly recommend.

Yum the food is so good! My husband & I have tried several different dishes, and they are all delicious and flavorful. The portions are large, as one expects, so you can enjoy some leftovers. The meat is so tender, you can cut the little chunks into smaller pieces with your fork. And they give you lots of sauce so you’ll want plenty of rice.
The naan is tasty, and freshly made, but ordinary.
The rice is fluffy and has a delicate sprinkling of what I believe to be caraway seeds. They don’t stick in my teeth tho, just adds a light subtle perfume which really adds to the complexity of flavor.
Ingredients like cheese cubes, potatoes, and/or peas, means there’s something on the menu for most everyone.
The spice level range is from one to five. Be conservative in what you choose, as it can really get hot! But if you love heat, you’ll love the flavor of whatever spice level you choose.
If you dont want all the sauce, I liked the Chicken Biryani. It’s full of delicious ingredients and flavor.
I still need to try their numerous vegetarian dishes.
I’d eat there everyday, but it can get pricey, so I don’t.

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. It is difficult to find a place all 5 members of my family agree on. This is one of them.
We had Aloy Tikki, Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Choley, and Garlic Naan. All were fabulous. Portions were generous. One suggestion, if you like spicy a 4, is where to start. Also, the onion chutney is great! Will be back many times.

First time getting food from here. We will be back. We got level 2 on both, the dal was very mild heat the jalfrezi was great. Absolutely loved the mango lassie. My only thing is the sauce had a sticker with ingredients, (yogurt, potatoes, cucumbers but it clearly had herbs and carrots in it) not a big deal for me, if it didn’t have a sticker I wouldn’t havw worried about it but I know a lot of people with allergies that have issues with it.

Got takeout from there for the first time and we will definitely be back again.

My wife got the chicken tikka masala and loves it. I got the chicken biryani and love it as well. Both dishes are an absolute symphony of flavor. Delicious! The bread is also SO GOOD!

The proprietors are kind and friendly.

We’ll definitely be back!
