I identify as a burrito man. I almost never order tacos at restaurants because they are small and don’t last too many bites. Visiting from out of town, I had to trust my sister and order a few taco specials. Delicious flavors and huge portions! The flavors they used were aggressive, heavily seasoned, and memorable. One taco impressed me because it superimposed a toasted tortilla inside the taco, stealing crunchwrap vibes. Gave it great texture!
They have a pencil-and-paper, sushi restaurant type ordering system which felt a bit overwhelming and like homework, so I’d recommend just checking off a few tacos from the specials list and calling it a day.
The service was pretty good, but either from inexperience or perhaps sneaky intentions, they doubled the number of tacos we ordered on the bill. They went back to correct the error, so I guess watch what they’re charging you.

This was the best Barrio experience I’ve had! The staff were very helpful and attentive, even making extra effort when I was on a time crunch for work. The food came quickly and was excellent. Savory and hit the spot.
I’ve also been to the Cleveland and Pittsburgh locations. The food is always good, but this location has the most attentive and speedy service.
I would recommend trying the chimichurri sauce.

The Hudson Barrio is bu far the best one we have visited. The tacos were absolutely perfect. They were stuffed with meat. The guacamole was also very good. It’s also one of the nicer atmosphere Barrios with large open windows, giving it plenty of lighting. Also, the staff here was exceptionally nice and kind. Offering to refill our chips and stopping by frequently to check in. The food came out pretty quick and was hot and fresh. It is also a lot more quiet than a normal Barrio leading to a much more peaceful meal. I have no problems with this Barrio. There is also plenty of parking on the street out front as well.

Let me first say if you look at all my previous review there are generally five stars. It takes a lot for me to review a place poorly. However, this is certainly the worst restaurant I have ever been to for service atmosphere and menu. If you need your years supply of salt, this is the place for you! Granted this was just before Christmas but we waited over an hour and a half for our food. And they forgot about the drink I ordered completely. The salsa tasted like ketchup mixed with Tabasco sauce. The food was unlike any Mexican I have ever tasted. Very bland very salty. The nachos were very small compared to other Mexican restaurants. Noticed the 1/3 cup size of rice and beans. Even the beans were very salty. Look at the pictures for the crumbs that occupied about half of the basket of over salted chips. I do not recommend this restaurant. Even the restroom waste basket was overflowing.

Came here on a Monday night after Christmas with family. We had a large group and they were happy to seat us together. The atmosphere is casual, but I feel like it could be a little less, it needs to be scaled up a couple notches.
If you’ve never been here, u put in your order by filling out your order on a piece of paper. Not a big deal, but come on. Chips and salsa were a 5 out of 10. I ordered multiple tacos, that were on the menu, I did not make my own. They hardly had any taste and the toppings were cold. Shrimp was hard and chewy. Do not get the sides, for one thing they forgot mine and I’m glad they did because my wife’s was so small it was a joke.
Our server was good, but you don’t have to do much when you’re filling out a piece of paper. I live near Chicago and we have taco places like this, that are way better!

I want to start this review off by saying our wait staff was fantastic and very empathetic. And in no way is this review a reflection on them.
Submitted our order, waited at least 25-30 minutes for our order to arrive. Immediately I noticed my portion of the order was incorrect. I simply mentioned to the wait staff this issue, things happen, not a big deal. Even acknowledged the order was not accurate to what I wrote down (build your own tacos). Wait staff took the order into the kitchen to get them remade.
The manager comes back out of the kitchen with my original incorrect order and says “it would take another 15 minutes to remake the meal, cooking the chicken. Or I can give you your original order (the incorrect one that they created).
The arrogance of the manager is what rubbed me the wrong way, to ask me to accept my meal being made incorrectly when even the waitstaff agreed that the options selected were not on my order due to their own fault. And without them willing to prepare the meal in a more timely fashion when my lunch guest was already 50% done with his meal and on a schedule. Especially when the restaurant was not busy and no way “in a rush”
I was very much looking forward to eating here as I am in town for business, but I will know for next time where not to come.
If I knew the wait staff’s name, I would include a massive praise here as their service was top notch!

Our waitress was great! That’s where the good ends. I have been to four different Barrio’s over the years and I now been to the Hudson location three times. This will be our last time to frequent the Hudson location. The restaurant was not full and the food took well over an hour to arrive at our table. Our waitress told us that ours was the last order being made in the kitchen and she apologized several times for the delay. Our food was warm at best when it finally did arrive. They were out a couple on tap beers and they managed to screw up our margaritas the first go around. We did manage to catch a glimpse of the manager and several staff members chatting in the office while there was apparently only one person working in the kitchen. None of our three visits to Hudson have been great but today has been the worst!

We had a wonderful experience at Barrio! Our waitress, Lyssi, was so kind and attentive—she made sure our drinks were always full and checked in often. The food was excellent: the taco meat was seasoned perfectly, and the tacos were overflowing with meat. The chips came out hot and fresh, and the salsa was bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everyone we encountered was so friendly. We’ll definitely be going back!
