Stopped here on our way back up to WI and so glad we took the time to divert from our route. My husband and I both lived in Korea for a few years so we are pretty picky about Korean food. Everything was delicious and probably my favorite soondubu jjigae I’ve had at a restaurant. Loved the nostalgic kbbq tables and other decor. I felt the prices were fair as well. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in this part of Indiana again.

I was so surprised that I got Korean food this authentic at Purdue. I grew up with Korean friends and this is THE MOST AUTHENTIC Korean food I’ve eaten in the area. I had the Haemel Sundubu Jjigae (seafood stew) and it was brilliant. Sides were nice too even though they were a little small. Rice portion was good for the soup too. Service was also awesome the person at the register helped me get my things to my table :). I will be coming back. 감사합니다

Food taste is not bad but food is 30% onions 70% so would not recommend i paid 85$ for these and had more onions than the food. Absolutely NO for me. Also it’s self service, you go get your menu by yourself and get your drinks by yourself

Such good Korean food at a convenient location for Purdue students. I ordered beef short ribs bento box, came with a large portion size, generous amount of ribs, and the ribs were tender, flavorful, and juicy. Inside was clean as well. Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Amazing food. Unique Korean dishes, versatile menu, diverse flavors, good presentation, and tasty sodas! Service was phenomenal, the young lady and young man helped us, recommended their favorites, and served well. We had no complaints! Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing! Po-cha Korean Grill & Soju totally blew me away. The vibe is super modern and cozy with a clean layout, comfy seating, and great lighting.
I tried the spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki) and WOW — they pack a kick! If you’re spice-sensitive, proceed with caution but if you like bold flavor, this is heaven. We also got the bulgogi and spicy pork & squid, and everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
Bonus points for the little side dishes (banchan) and lettuce wraps — perfect for building your own bites. Also loved the Milkis and Coca-Cola Star Wars cans — fun little touches.
Highly recommend if you’re craving legit Korean food with a modern twist. I’ll be back for the BBQ sets and bibimbap next time!

Brand new, very nice interior design and good food. We had the pork belly bento – which has all the fixings for a good lettuce wrap (kimchi, sauce (though it doesn’t taste like the samjang I’m familiar with), rice, fish cake. Bibimbap had all the usual ingredients – highly recommend adding on the beef to mix in – it’s well marinated and tasty. Ordering the hot stone bowl version gives you rice crisped to perfection. Not a huge menu, but lots of good options if you like Korean BBQ, pajeon (savory pancake), and jjigae (spicy stew). Do note that despite the upscale setting, you order at the counter and bus your own trays. Looks to be the same owner as Sakanaya, which now has a second location next door.
