Found this place across from the Secretary Post Office. Stopped by for breakfast and discovered excellent service and a delicious meal. Noticed the phone did not stop ringing with Lunch orders and our server reported that they are normally very busy from 6 am to closing at 8 pm. This doesn’t include the high number of take-out orders. This place is a gold mine that has been discovered by many others. People come from far and wide…not just locals. Prices are extremely reasonable and the homemade entrees are real comfort food. Dining here leaves you satisfied from your meal and feeling treated like family. BTW, they have only been open since 10/02/2024 since moving to Secretary from a location at the Cambridge airport. Stop by for a meal and say hey to Haley.

The staff were all friendly no complaints there but I do not recommend the crab dip. After I left I started to feel very bloated and uncomfortable. A few hours later it got worse and I had to throw up. Could’ve just had a bad batch but it was definitely not a great experience. After paying for a meal the last thing you want is to end up with food poisoning!

Everyone we encountered working at Katie’s was great, however the rest of our visit wasn’t so good. The wait for the food to come out was long and the food was really disappointing. Would not go back.

The food is excellent and the service is friendly. We love TARA who greets us with a big smile and welcoming HELLO, GLAD TO SEE YOU AGAIN! She is very frendly and efficient. When TARA isn’t there KATIE will come out of the kitchen and take care of you. Always a smile. It’s a family business with a family atmosphere. We frequent this café several times a week.
Wendy is a real charmer. So helpful and we always get a laugh. Chloe is another friendly server. Katie’s has a quality wait staff to greet and serve the best homemade food. And you can’t beat the prices.

This is the perfect restaurant for our little town, serving good home cooked meals at prices we can afford with satisfying portions. Since opening in early October, Katie’s Kafe has been the place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Secretary. The atmosphere is casual, the staff is friendly and the comfort food is delicious. And, please leave room for the BEST cakes made here with love!! OMG….the chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and the fluffy coconut cake!!!!! Please support this little local business so they can continue to thrive in our little town.
