I came here for the first time expecting the 1-star adventures and was disappointed – the food was good, servers were fine (and they kept coming back to offer more broth), bathrooms had soap.
Got: premium beef, udon noodles (extra- they have rice noodles at buffet), and dumplings, and less spicy sauce to mix in.

Went here with my sisters and husband. What a lovely local spot! The women who run the place are very kind and helped my sisters figure things out since they’d never had hot pot or shabu before. The broth is fresh and vegan friendly. The veggies are fresh and the meats are sliced perfectly thin so they cook evenly. The sauces they make for you are great but you can make your own. We love this place! Super friendly!

I have had Japanese shabu. This is varied to Korean style I believe but a great spot for shabu. Opt’d for the premium beef with my combination. All the meat and seafood was fresh and good quality. The atmosphere could use some updating/improvement. The service was exceptional. We were treated with pourage and fermented radish at the end.

When you enter the host takes you to your table and fills your hot pot with a basic broth. You will then choice a protein, dipping sauce, and any extra appitizers. There’s a buffet style ingredient bar for you to get unlimited veggies, noodles, fish cakes, etc. You put all ingredients in yourself and enjoy. Over all we enjoied everything. Wish the broth was a little more flavorful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gom Shabu Shabu, and it was truly a delightful experience! This restaurant offers a wide array of fresh ingredients and an extensive selection of options to create your own personalized shabu shabu.
One aspect that stood out to me was the freshness of the vegetables. Gom Shabu Shabu takes great care in sourcing high-quality produce, and it truly shows. The bok choy, cabbage, spinach, and other vegetables were crisp, vibrant, and packed with flavor. The abundance of options, including rice noodles, tofu, and fish cakes, allowed for a customizable and satisfying meal.
Choosing the meat to accompany the vegetables was a pleasant experience. The regular beef, in particular, was flavorful and cooked to perfection. However, I do feel that the broth that accompanies the meat could benefit from some improvement. While it was enjoyable, I believe a deeper and more robust taste could elevate the overall shabu shabu experience even further.
One highlight of my meal was the sauce provided to complement the vegetables. The sauce struck a perfect balance of moderate spiciness and savoriness, enhancing the flavors of the vegetables and adding an extra layer of deliciousness to the dish. It was a delightful accompaniment that elevated the overall dining experience.
In summary, my visit to Gom Shabu Shabu was a delightful experience filled with fresh ingredients and an extensive selection of options. The vegetables were exceptionally fresh, and the variety of choices allowed for a personalized shabu shabu experience. While the broth could be improved for a deeper taste, the sauce provided a flavorful addition to the meal. If you’re looking for a satisfying and customizable dining experience, Gom Shabu Shabu is definitely worth a visit.

Suggest you come here if you want to feast on nappa cabbage and other small assortment of veggies. They really cut back on the meat portions you can practically see through the meat because it’s sliced so thin.

Fresh veggies, warm delicious broth and great meat selection. You can’t beat the price for the quality. But I’ll be back because of the friendly women running the place. They were so helpful, answered all my questions!

The taste just isn’t the same as before. Considering the quality of the food, it felt like a waste of money this time.

Me and some friends went there to eat a while back, and a young Asian guy was subjecting how we needed to eat and what to eat and when. He was assuming that we were going to use the same plate every time we got up to get our food by constantly reminding us to change plates and watching us to make sure we use a new plate.in addition he was putting his hands all over our table and moving our plates without asking us. They have decent food but poor customer services and manmers
