Stopped in for lunch about 9 people working inside. My tenders were big juicy and nicely flavored. On the very higher end of what you would expect for fast food. Easy in and out and my order came quick and was quality. Usually I would normally wait quite a while before trying a newly built restaurant, but they are known for quality elsewhere and did not disappoint. Recommend!

Got a nice looking roll, some freshly made mashed potatoes, 4 tenders that’s were pretty big and super good. Loved everything, had a young woman named Melissa (I think) help me and my grandson navigate the menu. Smelled really fresh inside and everything was very neat and clean. What a great place to eat at, will be returning soon!

Today, I had a disappointing visit to the Golden Chick located on Malloy Bridge in Seagoville. As an active member of the community, I find it essential to share my experience, especially since this establishment is relatively new but alarmingly falls short in customer service and food quality. I made a purchase exceeding $35 for a family deal, which included an extra side of mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, the food that I brought home was far from satisfactory. One of the mashed potato containers appeared as if it had been partially consumed, while the other contained a small, barely half-filled serving of potatoes that were gunky and stringy. The chicken tenders were unacceptably small.
When I called the restaurant to voice my complaint, I was met with disrespect from a staff member, eventually speaking with a manager, Marrisa or Melissa (heard others callout her name in the background). She was adamant about not providing a refund, offering instead a replacement. However, given the appalling state of the initial order, a refund was the only acceptable solution. The call took a turn for the worse, with staff members openly mocking and disrespecting me, even hanging up on several attempts to resolve the issue. Attempts by my son to intervene and gather the manager’s name were also met with dismissiveness and unprofessionalism.
In this close-knit community, word travels fast, and I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from facing a similar situation. Blatantly wasting over $35 due to poor quality food and experiencing such a lack of professional conduct is unacceptable. I advocate for choosing a dining establishment that values its customers and provides a quality service. It’s crucial that we support businesses that contribute positively to our community.

Honestly, why more fried chicken? We don’t need more fried chicken in Seagoville, we have so much already. The chicken I got was fine and crispy, but as every golden chick I’ve ever been to, it was relatively flavorless and boring. Tender sure, but nothing interesting. Chicken Express is much tastier and I’m tired of them too, ugh.

Got a 3 piece tender and this was one of my “tenders” literally smaller than my fingers….. absolutely ridiculous. Also the guy taking our order was extremely rude and cut us off several times. Needs some better training at this location.
