Fantastic buffet. Not super busy usually so sometimes you have to wait a minute for fresh items to make it out (which is what I like), but the food is top notch from what you’d expect at a Chinese buffet — delicious crab rangoon and general tsos. The owners are very friendly and their kids are usually doing homework or having typical sibling interactions, so the environment feels very authentic. Carry out is a great value and I can get a few meals out of a single combo. These are the types of businesses we should be supporting!

Mens room missing urinals. Daughter slipped and fell on slick spot going down the hall to the bathroom. My other daughter got a hair in her chicken on a stick. They say 88 items on the buffet – divide that by 2. Looked outdated and looked like it was trying to find it’s identity. Part buffet, part flea market jewelry store, part dime store. Food was mediocre at best. Multiple items had obviously set out for a very long time. We gave it a shot and drove from out of town but it was not worth the drive. Maybe the take out food is better????

This was one of the first times I contemplated leaving the restaurant after sitting down. All of the food was cold or tasted like it had sat there for while even though we were there at a peak lunch time. My husband and I both got a plate of food, but neither of us finished our plate. They advertise having 88 item options, but I would say they maybe had half of that and quarter of those looked semi appetizing to put on your plate. I love Chinese buffets, but this was a let down.

Honestly this restaurant deserves high praise! We are newcomers to the Elwood area and have eaten here since the beginning. They are our go-to place for takeout! Over anywhere else. It’s very easy to call and place an order to go, we’ve only ever done takeout but they do have a great buffet as well with food always ready and fresh. They always get our order done accurately and fast, never had an issue and never disappointed. The family seems to recognize us each time we stop in as our order is usually the same each time, they are always polite and friendly and fast to get our order to us. The combo platters are very generous as you get either a soda or soup, egg roll, rice and entree typically. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I do wish they’d offer coupons every now and then, but we do try to stop in about once a month. The portions are so big they last us for leftovers the next day usually! Will continue to go here, happy to support a local family owned business.

They have signs all over that state they will charge you extra if you don’t eat everything you take from buffet!! Because I rarely am able to finish a plate due to gastric surgery I decided to not eat at all. My husband ate and said food was ok.

The food was terrible. Very little was fresh on the buffet. They periodically brought out fresh food but it was random stuff and a lot of what was old sitting there was not refreshed while we were there. What was brought out fresh while we were there had very little flavor. Out of the 4 of us, my husband has now been sick and one of my daughters is sick. And my daughters went to the bathroom while we’re there and the floor was so slick one of my daughters actually fell.

Wouldn’t recommend this place too anyone! Noodles were soggy. Almost like they were already cook an they threw vegetables in it for our take out order an recooked it. I asked for vegie lomain an it had chicken in it. They didn’t even give us one entrée that we ordered and paid for. Didn’t get our drinks.

My dad and I always enjoy getting food here so much! Such a friendly and hard working family. They really ensure that we have everything we need, and that the food is delicious as always! I definitely recommend supporting this wonderful local restaurant.

Upon first walking into this place the lady that greeted us was extremely rude, flipped her nose up, literally, and flounced us to our table. She was very rude, the food was very old, extremely salty and very dry. It was horrible! To add insult to that injury, there were signs posted on every buffet that said if we did not finish our food (as horrible as it was) we would be charged extra. The evening plate was 9.75 and we had to force down every single bite…. we will never go back!

This place was pitiful. Do not waste your money here. We were charged $31 for 2 adults and a 5 yr old child which wouldn’t have been so bad if the food was better and they had more of a selection. Signs were also posted at the buffet saying you will be charged extra if you don’t eat all your food. The lady that took care of us was extremely nice though.
