I have been going to the Weeping Willow ever since it was located in Bethalto. The owners have done an amazing job with the new location in Edwardsville. They have managed to keep many of the same menu items that I love (i.e. the baked potato soup, chicken salad sandwich, snickers pie) and upgraded to add more items a d keep the menu fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and shabby chic. Service is amazing. I also love how the sun peeks in through the lacy curtains. Just makes me feel like grandma’s kitchen. I didn’t get a pic of the food, unfortunately, but my little neighbor lady loved the turkey and cranberry melt and her seasonal pumpkin pecan coffee.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly. My waitress Beth was very knowledgeable about the menu, she made sure my glass was always full. I order. The pick 2 the soup in the sandwich I have to bacon ranch sandwich and the loaded baked potato soup. It was very amazing. I also had the cookies and cream cake for dessert it was really good. I definitely would be coming back with my mom.

This is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy with friends and family.
The food is absolutely delicious and the ladies that work there are very friendly and hard working.
Head Up… go early to find a parking space.
The Weeping Willow Tea Room is always busy.

Delicious little tea room! There are several vegetarian options, they serve loose hot tea, and have many desserts. Highly recommend!

The food is good, but we had to wait at least 40 minutes for our food, even though it was not crowded at the time. The atmosphere is nice and clean and our waitress was friendly! Their prices are fairly high for what you get and there is an upcharge on the majority of salads on the you pick 2 and 3. The desserts were $8.50 for a very small dessert.

It’s such a cute, dainty place. It’s not very big. There’s only a few large tables so plan ahead to make sure there’s enough room, if you have a large party. I love the atmosphere. The tea room salad is by far my favorite item on the menu. The homemade poppy dressing is delicious. The turkey cranberry melt is like thanksgiving in a bite. A little sweet but still tasty. Probably my favorite sandwich. Try the pick three and you’ll get to try a few options and get full at an affordable price. Hours are from 10-2 I believe.

Food was original and delicious. Got the pick 3. Weeping willow salad, turkey and cranberry sandwich and baked potato soup. All 3 were well worth the 22$ with drink.

A pleasant place, friendly staff. Small menu: They serve sandwiches, salads, soups and quiches. Light meals. Many options of desserts.

This is a pretty cafe with nicely spaced out seating (Covid-safety). There is a patio area but we didn’t check it out. The food was really good … The tuna salad and the soups got rave reviews, but my chicken-strawberry- poppy seed salad was a bit lacking ( super dry chicken and not enough strawberries).. The desserts were awesome!! Gotta come back to try several more things from the great menu.

Really bizarre for a tea room. I ordered hot tea, and the server repeatedly asked me not to steep the tea bag in the teapot. Do they not know how to properly brew tea or just not want to clean the pots? Steeping one cup at a time in the teacup results in unevenly brewed tea. If you don’t want people to use the teapots correctly, don’t put them on the table.

The potato soup was OK but tasted a bit off. There was no broccoli in the broccoli cheese soup. The stacked ham sandwich was very tasty but very messy. The salads were good.
