Me and my boyfriend celebrated our four year anniversary last weekend at salt, and we were not disappointed! We were seated on the closed in patio right after sunset, and the view was beautiful. Our server was extremely attentive and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. I opted for the crab cake with a side of brussels sprouts and hushpuppies. My crab cake was fine and not very large, but the sides really were the star of the show. That honey butter that the hush puppies came with was phenomenal! My boyfriend got the brisket melt and it was delish! The fries were perfect and seasoned perfectly, and the brisket melted in our mouths. We also got an orange crush which the bartender did an excellent job preparing. All in all, our visit was a great experience. My only qualm is that the crab cake was quite pricy for the size. Will definitely come back in the future!

Delicious food, cozy/warm atmosphere, and wonderful staff. Came here on a cloudy day with my family and ate everything off the plates. Our server, Hope, was so kind! Looking forward to visiting again during the warmer months.

Discovered this spot while on a weekend getaway and ended up going two days in a row. The atmosphere and view of the water can’t be beat. The menu includes a bunch of classics done really well. The crab dip and crab cake are chock full of crab. Fried chicken sandwich, steamed shrimp, housemade chips, and hush puppies were all delicious.

Overall, great experience at SALT. The atmosphere is lovely and the owner seemed to put a lot of thought into the decor.

Went for Mother’s Day dinner and we arrived a bit early for our reservations. They sat us quickly and the waitress + hostess were lovely! The menu is simple, which makes it easy to decide. Typical American/Maryland food such as catfish, crab cakes, seafood pastas.

Oysters were fresh and delicious; shrimp lettuce tacos were good and something different from what we see on menus from the area! The main course – my family shared the crab cakes and Cajun pasta! Plenty for all 3 of us adults. Crab cakes were alright, I prefer island hideaway from Solomon’s, but these were solid. Cajun pasta was a hit and it wasn’t too rich! Lots of shrimp and sausage.

Food met our expectations and we’d love to come again to hang outside and try some of their crushes!

Unrealistic size flatbread to its price, $30 seafood flatbread that have 5 very small shrimp and burnt.
Unrealistic fried oysters order, 2 and half oysters.
1 lb steamed shrimp that actually weighs 0.6. Never again

What a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lovely. The have great outdoor seating with a waterfront view and they are dog friendly. The food was fantastic. We tried the crab soup, which was full of real crab and very tasty. The wing and the flatbread were also excellent. The service was fantastic. Our server allowed us to bring our tiny dog inside, as it was too chilly to eat on the patio. This was a great dining experience and we’ll be back the next time we’re in the area.

Disappointed in the food and service. It took 45 minutes to get the appetizers and another 40 minutes to get the entreee. Didn’t see the waitress much. Salmon & brussel sprouts were over cooked, ordered a Greek salad that turned out to be a tasteless pasta salad. Wings, hush puppies, and the view were the best part of the meal.

Overall, a very nice experience. Location is premo and they have everything nicely arranged both indoors and out.

Cream of crab soup… Yum. Crab cakes were delicious with barely any filler (just enough to hold them together).

We also had shrimp, carrots, and fingerling potatoes. All done very nicely.

I have just a one star demerit for the margaritas. If you’ve followed my other reviews, this is an area of emphasis for me. Just happens to be the #1 cocktail in America…

So, the mix used was high fructose corn syrup based and sicky sweet (neon green is also a clue). So much so that I’m not convinced there was any tequila in them (Don Julio was absolutely wasted here). I am not asking for anyone to squeeze limes… But, if you must use a mix, there are some good ones that are cane sugar and fresh lime juice based. This is also very easy to do by making simple syrup and then having good quality lime juice. Price on the drinks was premium so why not make them taste that way? Of course, adding a splash of orange juice and Cointreau/Grand Marnier
(actually my fave is Gran Gala because it’s delicious and half the price)

Otherwise, cheerful service and we’d enjoy going back.

I recently dined at SALT, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. What stood out the most was their pet-friendly patio, which allowed us to bring our two small dogs along. We were seated with a beautiful waterfront view, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

For starters, we ordered the kids hamburger from the menu for our pups, and they loved it. As for us, we couldn’t resist trying the bang bang shrimp and old bay chicken wings from the appetizer menu. The flavors were fantastic and left us wanting more.

My husband enjoyed a few beers while I opted for the Mahi Mahi tacos, which were absolutely delicious. To top off our meal, we indulged in a decadent Chocolate Moose cake and ice cream for dessert. The food quality was top-notch, and we left with satisfied taste buds.

What added to the overall experience were the various entertainment options available, including cornhole and ax-throwing booths. The promise of live music later in the evening was the cherry on top.

SALT provided us with great food, a pet-friendly environment, and an array of entertainment options, all set against a beautiful waterfront backdrop. It’s safe to say we’ll be returning soon.
