With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

The Human Bean is by far the best coffee chain in Loveland in terms of quality, variety, and service. This place blasts their competition away with quality. The coffee is the perfect balance of richness, but not bitter or burnt, and the ingredients taste high-quality and premium, compared to other chains. I feel their coffee is much better than Starbucks, Ziggi’s, and Dutch Bro’s. Their service is also outstanding and beats those competitors. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and full of personality. The staff genuinely cares and takes pride in their product. The staff is not only very friendly and personable, but very prompt with taking orders, even when they have 10 cars in the drive-thru. I love that the Human Bean offers a variety of different options that you won’t typically find at other chains. They have lots of options, and the different drinks work really well with their ingredients and flavors. It shows the drinks are very well thought out and never get boring or old. I highly recommend the Mexi; it reminds me of Mexican chocolate, and it’s combination of ingredients is absolutely delicious,- me I find it addictive.

Super friendly staff, never had issues ordering, nor with the food or drinks. Much prefer this place over Starbucks or Ziggies.
But holy cow the owners have lost their mind with the pricing. Over $17 for a 20oz Snow w/ a breakfast burrito?!??! Wth are they thinking? I can go to like Urban Egg or Pancake House sit down, be served and have coffee & a full meal for that price.
HB has always been a bit pricier but this is fricking ridiculous. On top of the eye watering price for coffee & essentially a microwaved burrito they’ve covered up the bulk of their prices on the menu boards. I understand this is all likely Tarrif driven but don’t insult our intelligence by hiding prices. Guess I’ll be sticking to my Nespresso here at home until prices come back down from space.

Such inconsistency is insane. 50% of time they serve the best cup of coffee ever! The other 50% is trash. To wait 15 minutes in line, pay $8 for a cup of coffee, and get a watered down warm cup of milk with no flavor and no coffee is super frustrating. But I keep coming back hoping for that “good” barista. I just wish they would train all staff and serve consistent coffee.

First time here and I’m glad I chose this place. Small snafu with my order that they immediately corrected and made right. I was impressed with how quickly they reacted when they realized I had been waiting for quite a while before ordering.
Definitely friendly, excellent coffee and fun people who play “It’s Raining Tacos” while working.
