Welcome to Burnt Edges Bar Pizza, a family-owned pop up pizza kitchen operating out of the Waltham Moose Lodge. We currently are only open to the public for take out orders, but dine in is limited to moose members only.(anyone is welcome to inquire about moose membership so you can also enjoy dine in option aswell as a new place to socialize and enjoy some cold beverages.) With our creative and unique specialty offerings we strive to bring you a different pizza experience then your used too with a style of pizza not widely avaible in this area. When you try our pizza our goal is to have you wanting to comeback for more with the only real question your asking yourself is which of these deliscious pizza’s should i try next time?

The pizza was absolutely incredible. We tried the buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken bacon alfredo. Both had a fantastic balance of flavor and the burnt edge crust was perfect. I worried it might have a burnt flavor but the sauce, cheese, and toppings were baked to the edges which made the last bites with the crust absolutely choice.

The best pizza we have ever had! We had the Big Mac, pterodactyl, Bacon Ranch and the Parmesan pizza. It was delicious in every bite. Make sure to order ahead of time! This is pick up only!!

Great pizza! Different than the others I’ve had around here. I had the Hawaiian pig bbq and it was awesome! Worth the price! You only get a pic of half the pie, because I devoured the rest.

Super greasy. Super small pizza. Sofa King small. Barely enough for one person. Very salty. Had to stand inside a bar full of cigarette smelling, old, drunk people to wait 10 more minutes, in addition to the 45 minutes it took them from the time I ordered it. I counted 14 people inside the bar so it wasn’t busy. How they have a 4.8 is mind boggling. The people inside seemed polite but I can’t imagine ever returning there unless I want a cigarette and a stiff drink. It won’t be for pizza, though.

They have an ATM on-site. Cash only, but very easy access. Highly recommend!

Shhhh!! I’m about to divulge Waltham’s best kept secret….
The absolute best pizza I have EVER had, hands down – Party On Brussel -black garlic infused olive oil, feta & smoked bacon with balsamic & honey hot drizzle!! The texture is heavenly with the caramelized edges gives it the perfect crunch ! The cheese /toppings go all the way to the edge, creating caramelized, crunchy, savory “laced” edges where they meet the pan. This is what makes “South shore bar pizza “ style so special & unique & it originated right here in MA! It’s become a weekly tradition for this household & do yourself a HUGE favor & order 2 or you will definitely regret it once you eat that last slice.
FYI : be prepared to wait longer times in peak hours / busy nights!!

Grew up in the South Shore and can say this is up there with Cape Cod Cafe, Lynwood, Town Spa, etc. Consistently incredible pizzas every time.
Like other reviews mention, it’s run out of the Moose Lodge so take out/cash only. Recommend ordering online (card accepted online) and taking your time to get there, but this is the definition of a “hidden gem”

We ordered the taco supreme and a classic cheese, and both were very good. The south shore bar pie isn’t very high on my pizza style list, but I’d 100% get these again. Both pies were cooked perfectly. The taco supreme was loaded with toppings but the crust remained crispy. The cheese was the perfect blend of sauce, cheese and a buttery crust…. The inside of the lodge was like stepping back in time, a very unique part of the experience.
Would get takeout again. Very happy we tried it!
