This is by far the worst mexican restaurant I’ve visited and I visit alot of them. I was excited when my food came out. Turns out the beans and rice were the best things on the plate. I ordered the chicken Pollo. It was the thinnest, driest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen. The cheese was thicker than the chicken lol. I brought this to the attention of the server, and her reply was, “That’s how it comes.” When I received the ticket, I’d been charged $19 for this meal. I couldn’t believe it. I will never visit this establishment again! I am so disappointed.
In response to your excuses: I am very aware of food prices. You should be ashamed to serve a piece of chicken this thin and dry. To charge $19 for this plate is ridiculous. Rice is cheap, beans are cheap, I guess I must’ve paid for 6lbs of avocado. I might’ve had 50 cents worth of chicken. Just stop it. I suggest you stop making excuses for every bad review and step your game up. I could’ve spent $19 and made this meal for four (will do next time) . You’re greedy, and that won’t get you far. Explains why we were the only people there. Good luck

The taste of the sandwich ( steak) was good , better than at one of our favorite Mexican places. But the chicken Quesadilla was only so so with small chopped chicken ,a small amount of cheese, and over grilled tortillas. They do have the good Mexican Coke, in the glass bottles, made with real sugar, not syrup. The salsa was very good with plenty of cilantro and small onions and tomatoes with just the right acidity. The chips were hard and not warm. The sweet tea plenty strong and sweet, done right. Lime available. I should mention that someone did approach me on the sidewalk when I left, asking for change. And to the side of the building was a broken down car ,where we parked that had both beer bottles and vomit on the ground ( that last part unknown to me at arrival- my passenger filled me in after our meal)

Best, authentic Mexican in Montgomery. Fresh chips and upbeat Mexican music… the drinks are flavorful and not shy. Quality avocado… Highly recommend this hidden gem.

The food was hot and fresh. Customer service was good also. We came at 8 not knowing about the hours but they close at 9. I got the chicken fajitas and strawberry margarita

My first Cuban Torta, cerdo al pastor. Wow! No words, English or Spanish, to tell how awesome this sandwich was. Such a cool place, too.

Since moving to Mobile from Arizona, I’ve definitely been missing authentic Latin cuisine. Well, this place hit the spot and I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Montgomery. The food is a little pricey but, it is VERY tasty and they have all the drinks I would expect an establishment like this to carry. I may be 2,000 miles from home but, the food here made me feel a little closer. As an added bonus, the staff is very pleasant and cordial, even to a güero like myself. Give this local establishment some love. You won’t be disappointed.

Great tortas de asada, and friendly staff. I enjoyed it with a cool refreshing Victoria beer michelada. I think next time I will try the fish.

Great food and service. Best Mexican food in mgm area I’ve tried.
Must order the gorditas campechanas with a side of rice and beans and to drink a margarita (peach with chili rim) or a michelada (with modelo)
