I ordered a sub being from Florida was thinking that it was going to be a nice size sandwich, a ham and Swiss sub turned out to be white toast with ham and cheese in it and no hoagie bread, I ordered the sandwich loaded thinking oh this is gonna be great. Why did I get taken? This is supposed to be a sub place not a sandwich shop with white bread.

The food I ordered was a whole number 15. As usual the food was great and had the same classic flavor of the boomer. However, when I entered the business no eye contact was made nor a greeting was ever offered. Finally, the cashier after dialing a phone in front of me before even speaking to me took my order. If you are going to have a sign in the business that request your patrons to be patient, I as a patron expect the same respect from the business! I’ve come to this restaurant since I was a child, but I will not continue to support a business just because they are small town. Even if you are small town your employees can have respect and be effective with the correct training.

I’m going 5 stars and at the same time this place needs some fundamental upgrades to get on board with the times. I’ve called a few times with no answer, I’ve driven by and been unsure if the place is open. Not open on weekends, Monday and closed at 7:00? They need a clearly posted menu with prices and a way to order on the internet. The dining area is clean but just has a strange feeling, I know bc I have to sit there when they don’t answer the phone and I have to sit there waiting on my order. Some better basic customer service, community engagement/outreach/ advertisement and technology to ease the flow of ordering and a plain old “Open” sign from Sams club would go a long way. I’ll keep supporting this place but please do something, Jersey Mikes isn’t too far down the road and they make a damn good sub too, I’m trying to keep it local.

I went into the establishment at 11 this morning for a whole ham and turkey with pickles. Got the food to go. Got home and bit into the sub to experience a horrible pain in my tooth. A tack was in my sub and went in my tooth causing it to break. That is unacceptable.

Deeply disappointed when i went in, your employee…and i hate to point out race, but she was african american…was giving me very bad customer service. I am talking yelling, bad attitude, angry, throwing money towards customers. It was so disappointing. I tried calling but was greeted with rude customer service over the phone. I hope that your store does better when serving hungry customer. I hope everyone learns from this review.

I tried the food once before and really enjoyed it. Called today to place an order a little after 8 and they said they were not taking anymore orders before I could get a word out That was strange being that they close at 10, which was the main thing I checked for before calling. I wonder if that was a management call or just employees that decided they didn’t want to work. If it is a management decision, it should be communicated online.

Normally, I have great things to say, but today was different. I placed a call in order for some food and sent someone to pick it up. Apparently, there was a mix-up because I’m getting a call 2 hours later stating my food hadn’t been picked up. The girl on the phone harped about how $20 of food went down the drain. Like I’m a child or something! Well, my sister returns home with the food I ordered. I called back and told them that, the girl gave a dry apology and I proceeded to tell her NOT to talk to me like that again. Well then she basically hangs up on me. I was a good customer. NOT ANY MORE.

I tried calling in an order and they will not answer the phone or they send it straight to voicemail,this is not the first time this has happened. The attitudes of the employees is horrible. They treat you as if you are bothering them or they don’t have time for you. The last order I placed with them a couple of months ago, I called in my order 30 minutes ahead of time and when I got there I still had to wait another 45 minutes, on top of that , my cheeseburger subs were cold.The owner seriously needs to consider hiring a whole new staff, otherwise the business will not survive.

It’s been open and gladly serving customers for a long time. The economy has hurt all of our town’s restaurants and businesses. They have a sweet sign near the door asking patrons to be patient because they have a staff shortage.
