None talked to me. They spoke Spanish amongst themselves. There were 3 booths filled when I entered about 6 pm. I never saw any more customers come in to dine. Because I am pre-diabetic I drink only water. The waitress brought a pitcher of water and put it on the table with a straw besides the pitcher. I asked for a glass. They said they have no glasses. That everyone drinks from the pitcher. I said, “That is uncouth!!” “Where is the glass?” They said they have none. I asked for a cup. She brings a styerfoam cup the size of a giant mug and pours all the water from the pitcher into the giant cup. Then she finds a lid and places the lid on the cup. I insert my straw and drink water from this giant cup. They bring out my steak burrito which is supposed to have beans, rice, and avocado. Guess what!!? The beans, rice, and avocado is not on the plate but inside the steak burrito!! A huge burrito that made!! While eating a fly lands on my other half of the burrito. I pinch off the part the fly landed on and was disgusted at the thought of eating where the fly landed with its dirty feet!! I managed to eat both halves of the huge burrito. There were 4 hot sauces to select from and all were “muy cielente”. That is “very hot”.
When I was obviously finished and ready to leave no one brought the bill to the table, so, I said, “I guess I pay up there?” I proceeded to the counter with cash and the waitress handed the bill to the cashier who never greeted me, was talking with some man, said $13.19 to me, took my money, returned the change, and I do not recall her saying, “Thank you” or anything!! Even after I said. “Hope it does not rain.” She said NOTHING!! The man repeated what I said, “Hope it does not rain.” Not one of the waitresses spoke to me, greeted me, said thanks for coming, or have a nice night, come again!! This is the worse place ever!!! How can these people be in business? They must feed family and friends only!! They must want only Spanish speaking people to come to them. No gringos allowed!!
This place is a bit different than some local places when it comes to service. Seat yourself and place your order. English is a second language here but that’s understandable, it’s an authentic place!
Our favorite spot to grab a great bite, consistent every single time.
