We had previously come to their bar, Sylvestro, and were so impressed that we wanted to come to Urbano. We were blown away by our experience here and plan on coming back. The ambiance is perfect for date night as it is nice, dark, and moody. The servers here/at Sylvestro have easily been some of the nicest ones in the DFW area. They are kind and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. I started off with the bergamot martini which was one of the more unique and tastier cocktails I have had in a while. We then started with delicious focaccia bread and a shrimp cocktail. Both were excellent with no cons or notes to improve. We then got the baked mezzi rigatoni which was excellent. Pasta was cooked well and I really enjoyed the sauce that was in it. We then finished with the redfish which also was great and came with a delicious puree base. I was so impressed by Urbano and we will certainly come back here.

Urbano Cafe is a special place. We’ve been a couple times over the past month, and the food and staff are consistently fantastic. Kevan, Kelso, and Courtney have been great about making recommendations on the menu and giving insight on dishes to try. The pacing of the meal is fantastic, which is something very hard to find these days. It’s very clear they pay attention to the details of each table. Wine list is thoughtful and very well priced. The entire staff is genuinely kind and welcoming to everyone. The ambiance is truly a vibe in the evening – love all the candles. It’s a lovely restaurant to take your time and enjoy the various courses (and wine!). Every time we leave, we are excited to come back.

This might be my new favorite restaurant in Dallas! The vibe inside is so cozy and intimate. The service was incredible! I went with 5 other people and every single one of us enjoyed what we ordered. The free focaccia was such a nice touch! We will absolutely be back and can’t wait to try more of the dishes. The bar connected to it is also super vibey and cute.

I had such an incredible experience at Urbano tonight that I had to share it. Our waitress, Amy, was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure we had everything we needed. She struck that perfect balance of being present without ever feeling intrusive, and her recommendations were spot‑on.

I also want to highlight the manager, Kevin, who set the tone for the entire evening. Professional, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to creating a great atmosphere, Kevin made the whole experience feel seamless. You can tell the team here cares deeply about their guests.

Urbano truly exceeded expectations tonight. Amazing service, great energy, and a team that goes above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Went there for breakfast Saturday the place was a little busy, they only have one person on the floor sitting incoming people, taking orders and serving. The first thing we ask for is coffee and water. Waited for awhile and thought about walking out. I talk my friend into giving her a chance and convince him to wait. Our coffee arrive almost the same time as our breakfast, we ask for our coffee and water about the third time. Breakfast was midlly warm and we never got our water. Left the place very disappointed. I’m sorry for the waitress I know its not her fault. I used to love that place.

The place had a great vibe, especially on Christmas Eve. We ordered a veggie dish and shrimp pasta the veggie dish was delicious, though the shrimp pasta was a bit too salty for our taste. Got chocolate moose and it was descent. Service was excellent and very attentive overall. A nice spot with good food and a festive atmosphere.

I went to Urbano for my birthday dinner with my family. I love Bowen House, St. Martin’s, and the dirty martinis at Sylvestro so I had high expectations. This is the one concept I am not itching to come back to. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. There are other places in Dallas that are much better at this price point, both in taste and portion size. (See Sister on Greenville.)

We ordered family style for five – caesar salad, carbonara, stracci con pesto, their NY strip special, the pistachio crusted snapper, the lamb chops urbano and two sides (gnocchi and garlic mashed potatoes). At the end a couple of people were still hungry so we got the baked rigatoni, which is the only dish I’d come back for. I’ll also say the complimentary focaccia they give you is fantastic.

I was extremely disappointed on how, I received my food when ordering Uber eats. I picked the shrimp scampi which was a $30 dollar plate. However it comes without noodles, when ordering a side salad very miss leading when the picture is with the noodles. I called to ask for the manager and the lady that picked up was so rude when she was explaining to me how it works on the app. Never even got to speak to the manager. Won’t ever be ordering from here again!

Urabano Cafe is such a unique and fun Dallas dining option. The vibe, the food, the wine list make for an incredible atmosphere and experience. The bolognese is outstanding. The beef carpaccio and duck are great. The high-quality olives and focaccia is such a fun touch. This is the kind of feel you expect to find somewhere like Manhattan.
