Just not a great experience. Went twice thinking maybe we caught them on a bad day. Food was very expensive but meh. Service was slow and inattentive ( even for ‘Island Time’).
I was aggravated that they charge an automatic 20% gratuity. The other restaurant at the Perry Hotel does not do this.
I start at 20% and go up for great service.
Did not tell us up front, and certainly didn’t earn 20%.
Only highlight was the Painkiller. Well done and very authentic.
Will try again next visit just to see if it was an anomaly.

Great food. Excellent service. Marina view. I love the live entertainment. I suggest the shrimp platter. The mahi mahi sandwich is delicious as well. It’s patio dining so the flies and heat can be a bit much at times. It was very convenient to have on site dining. Ate here twice during our 5 day stay at the Perry.

Terrible experience here this evening. We arrived and stood at the entrance waiting to be seated and were avoided by everyone working in this place. A line of two other parties formed behind us waiting to be seated while servers avoided us and didnt make eye contact. Multiple tables were available. A manager walked by the line to exit the restaurant and didnt acknowledge anyone. Another server ended up taking out the garbage and told everyone to get out of her way. After 15 minutes of standing and waiting we finally left and got mexican food at the other waterfront restaurant. Way better experience and friendly staff there!

It was a decent experience. However, the food was incredibly expensive for what you get. Although tasty, 20% mandatory tip. The filet on the mahi sandwich($23) was about as big as a snicker bar no joke. A plate of chicken tenders and fries should not be $18-19. Service from the bar tender was amazing

Came here for date night which was perfect. Staff was fantastic and very enjoyable. The Pina Colda was perfect! When it came to the food however I was a bit disappointed as it look amazing coming out. The chicken on the salad was a bit undercooked and the tender loin slider was missing flavor from the meat. However we also did not have it sent back and likely just an off meal as we have heard great things about this spot. Since the bartender Zak was so cool, we’ll probably give this another shot another time. The local marina and hotel grounds was fantastic to walk around afterwards. The amount of stores and other spots to hit was really cool.

My visit to Salty Oyster was a good time – the bartender was super friendly, and the service was quick. The food was pretty good, though wished they had a more extensive menu, and the cocktail was decent but not the best. Tried the Blue crab & corn fritters (7/10), Blackened Grouper Sandwich (8.5/10), Perry Punch (3/10). Nevertheless, the fun atmosphere and great view of the marina made it a worthwhile visit.

They do a good job with the food and drinks here, just a little pricey compared to other local spots. I guess that’s the hotel pricing for you. We stayed in the nearby Marina and it was super convenient.

Nice bar set up. Welcoming. Food is good. They do poolside service at the Perry Hotel. Happy hour 4-6 with beer is freaking awesome for this Northern Gal.

Such a great venue, but the bartenders are awful! (Except Zack…he’s a keeper! ) No engagement, takes forever to get a cocktail because they are busy doing something in the computer. Or something else. And come to find out, a 20% tip is included. Nobody mentioned that the first night we were here.

We stopped for Taco Tuesday. I had the lobster tacos and she had the Shrimp Tacos. Very good and filling. I also had the Rocket Fuel Pina Colada which was delicious!
