Some of the very best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere. I’m upset I’ve been missing out on this place for years but I will definitely be back often. My wife and my son said exactly the same. The people working were really nice and helpful as well. This is one of the few places in Lubbock that has elote at all and it tastes fantastic. They also have a goot number of frescas (I think 7), most I’ve not seen anywhere else.

We ordered the cheesy birria and it was amazing! So far the best we have had since moving. We also tried their hot cheetah corn on cob and a cup. It was delicious. We also had loaded fries and love how they didn’t get soggy. The strawberry horchata Fresca was fantastic.
Only feed back is the hot sauce its kinda basic and could use more flavored but everything else is amazing! We will be back!

Excellent food and quick friendly service! The steak quesadilla had lots of meat and cheese with lots of flavor. Added a dash of the hot sauce and that made it so much better! Rice and beans were flavorful. Beans were a little thin but still very good and mixed with the rice and some hot sauce was perfection. Washed it all down with a strawberry lime lemonade. Great eat local place!

You know it’s authentic when you can barely read the menu!!! Staff was very helpful and patient as we decided… I went with the asada burrito and glad I did!!! It was bigger than my head and filled with goodness!! Made 2 meals out of it actually!!! Hot sauce (both red and green) were hot but not burn your mouth hot!!
Will definitely be back

Best and I mean best Barria tacos from here down to Midland/Odessa so far. These things are to die for. OMG, I can’t say it enough how good they are. I’ve been twice now. Next time I need to try something else but I doubt that will happen. The staff is friendly and welcoming too. Love it here. Favorite restaurant in Lubbock.

This place is a must try!! Absolutely delicious. We tried a little of everything on our visit seeing as this location has a little bit more expanded menu. (Flautas & gorditas aren’t available @ clovis location)

The flautas are a must-try! Super crunchy. Filled with delicious chicken. Gorditas I tried were asada and beans/cheese. Yes, yes, yes!!
We also got the asada fries. They traditionally come with crema and pico de Gallo (which I omitted). We added guacamole. My fiance loved them. The flavors were there, but for me personally it was a bit much. I think I’ve decided they just aren’t for me. my fiance tried a torta de asada (his 1st time) and he loved it.

The portions are great for the price. For everything we ordered, we paid roughly $45. We also had an horchata and 2 Coca Cola de botella.

There are very few tables for dining in. A couple of booths outside similar to their Clovis location.

The service was ok. No one was rude, but they were busy and it showed. We stood there for a good couple minutes before even being acknowledged. I feel they need to develop a better system for whomever is taking out the food. It doesn’t seem there’s a whole lot of communication between whoever takes orders and brings them out. Lots of times we were offered food we hadn’t ordered and food kept going back and forth between the dining room and kitchen bc of the confusion.

⚠️FOR THE COVID CONSCIOUS⚠️
These tables are NOT distanced. The place is TINY so you’ll be crowded by other diners as well as people waiting in line to order, so if you’re claustrophobic or just very covid conscious, I’d eat outdoors or order and take it home.
