My favorite Marshalltown restaurant. The attached photo is what $9 (+tx) gets you – 4 tacos & a coke. Not much to say except that they were amazing. Absolutely delicious.

I have gone here to personally get food for myself twice, and the 2 times I have been very disappointed. The first time I went was in 2015 years ago. I remember getting a torta and got sick for a week and a half from that. So upsetting. The second time, I decided to give them another chance and got a burrito with no meat or dairy choices, which was still a pretty big sized burrito for taking so much out. I guess I just watch too much food shows because I heard that microwave off 3 times for food that I also ordered for my partner and myself. Like Gordon Ramsey would say, “Shut it down!” Not fresh at all. But the results of the food have been good or bad. It just depends on which lady is working on that day. I do love how spicy the salsas are and how much they give you.

I didn’t think I would find authentic tacos in Marshalltown, boy was I wrong. This place is top notch. Had the steak tacos and the tamales (one chicken, one pork) everything was great. Go ahead and get a large horchata too, you will not regret it.

Not good. Food was all room temp.. Pretty sure my burrito was microwaved too which was why it was barely even warm. Spend your money somewhere else.

We ordered chicken taco, taco salad, chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla and all were bland. Chicken was not tender. I do not recommend and I am unlikely to visit again.

Awesome food, friendly service, and a taco truck atmosphere makes this place worth checking out!

The food was okay. Not the best but not the worst. No real seating, as the restaurant is more like a taco truck, with only a window for ‘to go’ orders. The staff was friendly and spoke enough English to take your orders.
The food was mediocre. I’d stay away from the tamales (pork and chicken) , as they were microwaved and dried out. The Grande size burrito is almost two full meals and was good. The tacos were extremely small, on tortillas not much bigger than coaster. I think the burritos are the most bang for you buck here.
All in all, it isn’t bad, but with so many other Hispanic restaurants in Marshalltown I won’t be rushing back to this one.
