Saw their all you can eat special online so I went in to check it out. When I walked in, I was greeted and offered to sit anywhere. They have a good atmosphere inside, nice decorations. The staff is very friendly, and the sushi is very fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the price.

I’ve been going to TAKE sushi for over 4 years now..their food is delicious, they take pride in their work as chefs and I tend to think of them more as an artist in a craft. The chefs are very friendly, while their english isn’t strong…if you take the time to get to know them, they are a hilarious bunch people.
It is family owned, which I like the local feel to it, it doesn’t feel mainstream…that doesn’t affect the food of course, just an observation.
I would recommend getting the AI roll, Eel, or James Dean roll….also get sake, cause sake is great with everything.

It is good sushi. Usually very slow during the week for lunch so you can get your food and get done. Some of their rolls are interesting and personally not very good, but overall they have decent rolls and good sushi.

Smells bad, flies all over the restaurant, toilets were broken, worst of all the sushi was discolored tasted funny and I actually had to spot out my piece of halibut because it was like chewing gum. Don’t recommend at all, would like to give negative stars.

OMG#Moorpark-Sushi just blew my snob-dining reality…off the charts! Just moved back to beautiful Ventura Co. (I grew up in T.O. & North Ranch) so WOW!!!! After multiple trusted personal recommendations there was no debate when I as instructed arrived to “TAKE SUSHI”… By far YES,YES #1 sushi bar in Ventura county & it’s in lively-lovely Moorpark ….
Amazing service – note: do (eat) what ever chef says, period! As instructed, I started off w/ “flown in today @ 4am PST fresh – tender “Maui tuna”…OMG luv their Hawaiian fish market mob connections !
In closing my sushi team are true sushi-artist(s) from Japan!!!!
