I went to lunch with some coworkers. I had the Hawaiian mix. It was really good. The beef was my favorite of the three meats. The Mac n cheese was awesome! One of the guys ordered the spam egg roll things. I was skeptical to try them, but was glad I did. They were delicious. Needless to say, I enjoyed my meal and will definitely return to try other menu items.

4/24 Update:
I’ve tried this place a few more times and I love it! The Korean chicken was so good! Perfect amount of crispy.
I’ve been here twice in the past two weeks and I gotta say, it’s definitely one of my new favorite places.
Service was good. Food has come out very fresh each time.
I got the lava chicken the first time and the chicken and mahi mahi combo the most recent time. I love the sauce on the lava chicken! Very good! Also I really enjoyed both sauces they offer at the front counter. (Teriyaki and Katsu) I’ve seen in some reviews that people say they are kinda thin but it doesn’t mean they aren’t flavorful! I also enjoyed the spam musubi a lot! My partner didn’t care for the sauce on the Loco Moco. They said the eggs were cooked perfectly and the beef was good but the sauce just didn’t have much flavor. Oh well, everything else we’ve had has been great! Can’t wait to come back!

The crazy panhandlefoodie
So, I’m conflicted about this review. The name says Hawaiian BBQ but this is actually the best Korean BBQ I’ve had. I got the bbq mix plate. The flavors remind me of Korean food. Even the Mac salad tasted like it was made with Korean mayo. I gave the food a 3/5 because as far as authentic Hawaiian food I didn’t get those flavors. However, the food was well seasoned. But don’t take my word for it come try for yourself later foodies

How have I not reviewed this place! I spent 2 years in Hawaii and got hooked on the plate lunches, the weird (to me, at the time) macaroni salad, the hybrid Hawaiian/Korean/Japanese comfort food. And boy have I missed that! But this please ticks every box, scratches years old itches, and it might be better than the food I remeber (the macaroni…). Fantastic.

Absolutely perfect. First place I found on the mainland that all the food was spot on. The hawaiian beef was so tender and juicy. The rice was cooked just right and the mac salad was to die for. I couldnt be happier and will definitely continue to come back.

Pretty good! I wouldn’t say like Hawaii but close to maybe L&L, not quite but almost. Katsu sauce is watery and not brown… no kalua pig. My husband did not like the loco moco at all. So maybe skip that if you know what it’s supposed to taste like lol. But teriyaki chicken was good, my son ate it all. My katsu was good besides sauce! And for AL pretty good! would definitely return.

Enjoyed it. Service was fantastic. Music was appropriately Hawaiian. Portion is about right for the price. Hawaiian BBQ mix had a little of everything. Chicken was tender, beef was flavorful, ribs were tough, cabbage was better after it sat with the meat for a minute, white rice was good, macaroni had something in it that made you want to just keep eating even if you were full. I’d definitely come back, probably get a smaller portion though.

1st time trying and ordered food to go, online… which was made promptly; less than 20 minutes.
Hawaiian BBQ beef is very tasty, the short ribs are very tender and tasty, and the teriyaki chicken is excellent, all served with rice, cabbage, and Hawaiian macaroni salad (which has a mayonnaise flavor).
Also ordered pot stickers, fried shrimp, and cheese sticks. Would recommend all.

I liked my experience here. I was greeted when I walked in the door and the menu was explained to me on the items I didn’t know. I tired the Hawaiian Bbq chicken with double vegetables instead of macaroni salad, the spam musubi, and Thai tea with boba. In hind sight I should of ordered double rice instead because the vegetables were just raw cabbage. The rice was plain white rice and needed a bit of soy sauce so it wasn’t so bland. The chicken was really good and with the rice it was really good. The Thai tea was nice and creamy, just what I would expect of a Thai tea. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and I just wish the sides had just a bit more seasoning. I would probably return to try another meat and for the tea.

When asking “Hey what do you wanna eat” I was given the “Let’s try something new” response and we ended up at a Hawaiian BBQ place and let me just say it’s a place that’s now one of our top spots in Huntsville kinda places. We had Korean BBQ chicken and Korean BBQ Beef Mini Meals that were more like regular size meals but cheaper than their Main meals. The Mini Meal comes with 1 scoop of everything where as the Regular Meal comes with 2 scoops of everything. Each Meal comes with 3 sides White Rice, Vegetables, and Macaroni Salad and the Macaroni salad was incredible. I could have ate an entire bowl of this stuff! Absolutely 100% recommend trying this place the menu has so many options there’s surely something you can find!
