Our first time here and we can’t wait to go back! This beautiful little gem in Downtown Ellwood City is an exceptional restaurant! The decor is gorgeous and the atmosphere was extremely happy and fun! Our waitress was amazing and so happy! You could really tell that the people there loved their jobs! Now on to the food…. We were blown away with everything we had! Our pierogies were probably the best we ever had! They were deep fried (we think) but not a drop of oil on them when they came out. They were beautifully arranged on a layer of the most amazing Alfredo/pesto sauce we have ever tasted! The steaks were cooked EXACTLY how they were ordered! We were so very impressed with our entire experience!

My husband and I came last night for wing night. The female bartender noticed us sit down and completely ignored us, and took orders from people after us. A young gentleman who was the other bartender was very attentive to us. Wings were good, but not worth the type of treatment from the female bartender. Reading previous reviews seems that she’s a problem with other guests as well. Don’t think we will be back.

This place is the Gem of Ellwood city! The food is excellent with great wings on Wednesday for wing night $15 all you can eat! To their regular menu filled with great food for dinner. If your in the area you must stop in for drinks and a bite to eat you wont regret visiting the 2nd ward Sanctuary!

Service could have been a bit better but in their defense they were short staffed. Bourbon BBQ burger was great, should have asked for a side of sauce to dip it in. Their signature fries didn’t impress me or my brother. The sprinkled cheese on them was bitey/sour almost spoiled tasting.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for weeks now! I don’t know where to start. The layout of the place is a little strange. Who had to walk through the front dinning area to the back to get to the bar to get a seat. But that said small menu I ordered the BBQ bacon burger it was a nice 1/2 pound. Came with a frys that were kinda like shoe strings Fry’s with parmesan cheese. Cost 13 bucks which I think is high compared to other places in the area. The cake was very good it was a cookie dough triple layer cake and that cost around 6 dollars.

Our server was outgoing and on the ball. A fantastic server! The raspberry daiquiri was to die for. For dinner I had the Shrimp Po Boy sandwich. Sadly, I really didn’t like it. The bun was very dry. It had 4 shrimp, some pickles and then was drenched in this sauce that took over everything. The fries were great!
