It was phenomenal for a 24/7 Pizza Robot
Who knew?!? It was quick, straight forward and reasonably priced compared to a gas station type pizza. It is thin and has easy to fold slices. Be prepared that there are no napkins or plates. Also the pizza comes out uncut, but they provide single wrapped plastic knifes which worked perfectly both times.

I had heard about this “Pizza Kiosk” and figured I would give it a shot. It is on the back side of the main drag going into Greuene, right behind a food truck. It is a huge container with a touchscreen. You are limited to 4 options, cheese, pepperoni, veggie or BBQ pizza. They claim within 3 minutes, you will have your pizza “hot and ready”, or you can get it cold and cook it at home. First of all, great idea, wrong execution. I had a hard time with the screen recognizing my touches as I was trying to order my pizza. Once I got the thing ordered, it looked longer than 3 minutes for me to get it. I had wondered why they had a “pizza knife”. The pizza did pop out of the slot. It was uncut, hence the “pizza knife”. The pizza dough was not crispy. It as more “doughy”. I am sure there is a reason they do not cook it as hot as they need to. They could easily increase the oven temp, or change the crust recipe where you get a crisp crust which would hold up better when you grab a slice. I would love to also see options where you can choose the toppings you want. I was disappointed when the BBQ Chicken Pizza was “sold out”. The pizza was “meh”. I have had better pizza at my local gas station. If I had been drinking and shopping in Gruene and wanted a late night snack, I might stop. It is a bit pricey almost being $14 for a small pizza. You are paying for the convenience. I give them an A for effort, but they leave a lot to be desired.

Save yourself money and time. Better go get the Rocky Mountain crepes from across the street. Take 3 mins just like this pizza vending machine but better taste with fresh ingredients.

We visited from Oregon, and the kids wanted something fast and easy while we shopped and enjoyed Gruene. We came upon this cute pizza vending machine where the kids could make their own personal pizza in three minutes. It was hot, made to order, and the kids were happy and satisfied (they even ate the crust, which they never do). They had cute picnic benches for us to sit at as well. I even two slices and it is even mom approved. It’s a must if you are visiting or a local!

It’s a really cool idea, but the pizza is soggy and kinda gross. I mean, late at night or in a pinch, it’s great… but honestly, Infernos is WAY better if pizza is what you’re in the mood for.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Gruene – Fast, Affordable, and Surprisingly Delicious Pizza

Tucked right in the middle of Gruene’s vibrant strip of shops, bars, and historic charm, this automated pizza spot is the kind of place you didn’t know you needed—until you try it. Just a few minutes’ walk from the river, it’s the perfect pit stop after a long float or while wandering the town with a cold drink in hand.

What makes this place stand out isn’t just the novelty of automation—though ordering through the easy-to-use kiosk system definitely adds a cool, modern twist—it’s the value and quality packed into every pizza. In a town where most food options will set you back a pretty penny, this is hands-down one of the most budget-friendly choices around, without sacrificing taste.

Ordering is a breeze, even on busy weekends. The process is intuitive and fast, and within minutes, a hot, fresh pizza is ready. It’s honestly impressive how quickly it’s prepared, and even more impressive how good it tastes. Crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of cheese—this isn’t gas station pizza. It’s genuinely good.

Whether you’re grabbing a bite solo, feeding hungry kids after tubing, or need something quick before heading into a nearby live music venue, this spot delivers. It’s one of those rare finds that combines convenience, affordability, and flavor in a way that just makes sense—especially in a high-traffic tourist town.

If you’re in Gruene, don’t overlook this little slice of pizza heaven. It’s quick, easy, and honestly? Kinda brilliant.

We pur purchased two pizzas. One smelled odd. We couldn’t figured out what the smell was, so we tasted it. Tasted spoiled. Threw them both out didn’t want to get food poisoning. We won’t be back.
