I places an order close to closing time I got the lucky 13 which turned out to be cold. I was charged $8 for 4sides and only received three out of 4. When I went back the following day to explain to the manager that they forgot my coleslaw they replace the coleslaw but that was it. Once I ate the coleslaw it was fishy. So I threw it away after the second bite. I only received a half cup of gravy for all 13 tenders and asked for other sauces and didn’t receive any. I don’t recommend this chicken place for a late night snack or ordering before closing unless your okay with receiving cold food.

Don’t sleep on the chicken sandwiches. Golden Chick is one of the best. Get the battered fries and they have small cups of real ranch, not the bottled or packaged but real ranch. Also the people that work here are super friendly.

This place is not good at all. I’ve given them 3 chances. They are always out of stuff, Their gravy is watery, Chicken strips are soggy, And the jalapeno poppers are itty bitty….. Nope not get it all. I’ll stick to Bush’s chicken, sonic And storms.

Food is amazing love how everything has just a tiny kick to it. If you love a little bit of spice in your food this is definitely your kind of place. The employees are great and very friendly especially the manager. The atmosphere is great I love the design on the roof it makes it feel like you’re eating at a fancy restaurant. The variety of seating is also a huge plus. They have normal chairs, booths and high sitting tables. Overall a great place to dine in or take out either way the food will be great as well as the experience.

I can not say enough good things about this Golden Chick and their entire staff that was working on June 20th! We placed a huge order for a wedding rehearsal dinner and from start to finish, Nicole took care of us like we were family! She went out of her way many times leading up to us picking up the food by contacting me on the phone providing updates and ensuring the order would be handled correctly. When we arrived to pick it all up, we were about 20 mins early and the entire team was working hard at getting everything ready. They even carried it all out to the truck for us and it was alot!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you again Nicole and your team there in Lampasas! Definitely visit their restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!
