Albert’s Mexican Food truly impressed me with its quality and atmosphere. The food is delicious and made with care — I especially enjoyed the fresh ingredients and rich Mexican spices that make the dishes flavorful and aromatic. Whenever I find out a restaurant serves Carne Asada Fries (or Super Fries, as they are called here), I have to try them.
First, the portion size is huge, which isn’t a bad thing. When you have a craving for this dish, too much is never enough.
Next, the flavor is pretty good. Lots of meat and cheese, not just all fries.
I will recommend adding their Salsa Verde (it is a bit spicier here than other restaurants with a similar offering)
All in all, very enjoyable!

I’m literally going to have to make some rice because what they give with the caldo de res is a joke and no cilantro or onions or lemon like they give you at the other Albertos on Amar. Imagine the disappointment after a long tiring day and this is what I get for not going to my regular Albertos on Amar.

First time didn’t go too well thanks to mother nature lol! Came in during the winter storm and the power went out before I could even order but I came back in the coming weeks and had the fish tacos special on Monday! 3 tacos for 6.99! Can’t go wrong on that. And, the staff was cool and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

I’m convinced there isn’t a single fast food spot or restaurant that’s half decent in this whole run down neighborhood. The taquitos they serve here (3 for $8 btw) are not good at all and are completely overpriced. Just because you have to pay your employees and keep the doors open does not legitimize you overcharging for less than mediocre food. It’s disappointing seeing places like this in the neighborhood I grew up in. It’s either run down establishments like these or McDonald’s. All bad.

Albert’s Mexican Food had quick service and excellent food. The salsa bar was tasty and the food was even tastier. I like that their prices are fair, too! The only criticism I have is that I didn’t order more food! Great job, and the holiday decorations made it even better!
