A fantastic BBQ spot! We ate here with friends and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — perfect for hanging out and enjoying good food. Everything we tried was packed with flavor; the smoked meats were tender and juicy, and the sides tasted just as fresh and homemade.
Service was friendly and fast, and you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. Great drink selection too, with plenty of local beers and cocktails to pair with your meal. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Columbia, this place is definitely worth a stop for quality barbecue and a fun, laid-back vibe.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was absolutely delicious. The smoked turkey and beef burnt ends were awesome. As was the fried okra and grilled mixed veggies. The service was terrific. So friendly and attentive.
I’ll be stopping here every time we come through Columbia from now on!

Tried this location for the first time and I think it was even better than the other location. The funnel cake fries were the same, just as delicious. The pulled pork is so tender… I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. I got the bacon BLT to compare it to the other location and the bread was more crispy, which is a win for me. Honestly could be the best BLT I’ve ever had. The waitress suggested crispy fried green tomatoes instead of regular tomatoes for my bacon BLT and I feel like that made it better as well. There was an extra crunch in each bite. They call it a bacon BLT because they put so much bacon on it. I posted a picture showing the inside load of bacon. We also got fried pickles and they were delicious. You get spheres of fried pickles and some ranch to dip it in. For the half size you get four spheres.
The sweet barbecue sauce is more of a vinegar based barbecue. The spicy barbecue is more sweet than the other two, but it does have a spicy kick. The Carolina BBQ is a mustard based barbecue. We came on a Friday at 5:00 p.m. and they were packed but we only had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a table. Several people walked in and out because they didn’t want to wait, but I will say it was definitely worth the wait. There is less seating at this location than the other. I would choose to wait again though.

Got a full slab of ribs with two sides. May I say, I was quite disappointed! Some of the worst ribs I have ever tasted. They were very very dry, but had decent flavor. Mac & cheese tasted Like they were one of those great value boxed mac u get form Dollar Tree. Baked beans were very watery and bland. All of this for 40 bucks??? Never again! The people there Seemed nice though.

CoMo Smoke and Fire is a family favorite. We went Sunday for lunch and it did NOT disappoint. We had a party of 8 and they seated us at two tables so we could spread out. Our server was so friendly and efficient. She kept our drinks filled and offered to-go drinks. She brought the kids yarn art to make and put on the wall (even the 16 year old kid). The food was so delicious, as usual. A lot of our family enjoy the beef burnt ends, but all of it was delicious. The fried dill pickles are another family favorite.

The smoked turkey and ribs were delicious. So delicious I ordered more to take home. Side dishes were really good as well. I suggest this place to all.

Reasonably priced food, and they are not stingy with their meat. I ordered a turkey sandwich and they piled the turkey on probs 2-3inches thick. Worth every dollar! Will definitely return.

Took my family here to try MO bbq (we’re from the south). The burnt ends are delicious. Brisket is good. Fried okra is so tasty. The sauces are good too. Definitely prefer this to southern bbq.

We went out to como smoke and fire today (6/13/2023) around 545pm. We ordered around 550 pm and we got our food not even 10 minutes later. They had fast service and there were booths and tables filling up. Our server was Josh and he was great. He had a great attitude and some of the best service I have personally had in a while from any restaurant. I got the smoked fried tenderloin sandwich with sweet potatoes fries and my husband got the brisket with fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was super fresh and hot. You could see the steam still coming off the Mac and cheese. Everything was very tasty and enjoyable!
